Reigisa (Rei x Nagisa): Unspoken

Part 4

The rest of the day passed in a blur for Rei. He didn't take any notes on the lectures or even pay attention. All his thoughts revolved around Nagisa. Sometimes Rei would catch himself staring at Nagisa. Rei loved him and would do anything for him but he didn't know what to do about this situation. The bell rang and the day was over. Rei gathered his things and walked over to Nagisa. Nagisa seemed depressed, Rei would rather see him smile then sad any day.

"Nagisa, would you like to go home together?" Rei asked.

Nagisa looked up at Rei and light returned to his eyes and a smile covered his face. "Yes!" He replied gleefully.

Nagisa got his stuff together and jumped up. Rei smiled slightly and grabbed Nagisa's hand. Nagisa held on tightly and walked with a little pop in his step. They exited the schoo and started to head to the train station.

"Hey Rei-chan" Nagisa said.

"Hmmm"

"What's wrong, you've been weird all day" Nagisa asked. Rei tensed up and squeezed Nagisa's hand. Rei didn't know what to say. Should I be honest? Rei could see the worry in Nagisa's eyes as he hesitated to answer. Rei was about to voice his concerns to Nagisa and ask him why he was lying, but Nagisa called our to someone.

"Shin-chan!!" Nagisa called and waved over to the others direction. Rei stopped looking at Nagisa and his eyes wandered to the person his lover was looking at. Shin-chan as in Shinji? There was a guy man the same age as them wearing a Samesuke school uniform. His brown hair covered one of his eyes but his features were prince like.

"Shin-chan!" Nagisa called again but this time he went to go over to see him and in the process let go of Rei's hand. "How are you? It's been so long!" Nagisa hugged Shin.

As Nagisa hugged the other man Rei could feel tears coming to his eyes, but he refused to cry in front of them. Rei turned and started to walk away as Nagisa talked to the other man. Feeling defeated and utterly depressed, his heart felt crushed and ached for Nagisa's love.

Nagisa noticed Rei walking away. "Rei-chan!!!" Nagisa called after him. But Rei was too hurt kept walking. "Rei!" Nagisa called again but Rei kept facing and moving forward letting go of a few tears that he was holding back.

Nagisa hurt that Rei wasn't answering him, apologized to Shinji and ran after him. "Rei, wait! Rei."
