Reigisa (Rei x Nagisa): Unspoken

Part 10

Through the night Rei couldn't sleep. He couldn't stop thinking about the cruel things to the person he care about. Between that and the constant disturbance from the nurse's coming in to take his vitals and give him medication, Rei's night was sleepless. The image of Nagisa's crying face wouldn't leave him mind.

The whole way home Nagisa was upset and didn't speak a word to Makoto. Makoto tried to comfort Nagisa in some way but it wasn't working, the boy refused to think positively during the whole situation. Then the scene of Rei getting hit by the car kept replaying in his head. Soon it was time for Makoto to get off.

"This is me. Cheer up Nagisa, we'll go tomorrow and things should be better." He said messing with the boys hair before he left. Nagisa nodded but refused to say anything still.

Once Makoto left the ride home seemed to take forever. The train he would usually take with Rei was lonely. Nagisa gripped his arm trying to to cry on the public train. Finally he was home. His parents were worried sick but Nagisa only had Rei on his mind and could careless about anything else. After his parents were finished doting on him Nagisa went to his room and flopped onto his bed. He gripped his pillow tight and began to cry again. How could Rei say such things to him? It was just hour ago when they were loving each other. Through the feeling of numbness that happened when he cries Nagisa heard his phone go off. Quickly the boy got up and looked at his phone hoping that it was Rei. But it wasn't.

It was Shinji.

Hey shortie. What happened today with glasses? We need to hang out. Good-night and sleep tight.

Nagisa read the message and became furious. He threw his phone across the room causing a bang against the wall. It was all Shinji's fault that this was happening. Because of him Rei thought that He didn't love him anymore. But that wasn't the truth. Sure there was a reason for Nagisa talking to Shinji but it want to have an affair. Nagisa cared way to much for Rei Ryugazaki. Nagisa held onto his pillow crying more than ever. His feelings mixed with hurt and anger. Before he knew it Nagisa had cries himself to sleep hoping that tomorrow would be better.
