The Worst of Us - Hyunjin Centric

Happy Days are Gone

It's been a whole week they made new beautiful memories together. And who would even noticed that those whe week already nearing its end, just like today it's already Sunday and they're all just went home from the nearby church they'd attended for Sunday Mass.

(Well I certainly knew when I became Stay that almost all of them either they're  Catholic especially Hyunjin or Christians just like Chan and others)

Heejun and and Hyunjee, Hyunjin's parents with his grandparents are already preparing their lunch inside the family house while the other members are doing their assigned jobs. Just like the three youngest which are Felix, Seungmin and Jeongin are currently buying some drinks on the nearby convenience store while Chan and Changbin are getting some fresh fruits and vegetables for side dishes on the nearby town market.

Hyunjin was left painting on the nearby lake at the back of his granparents' house. He stopped outlining when suddenly his phone buzzed signing that he received a message.

He tap to open his phone before reading the message silently.

[My Pretty Doll, I couldn't wait for this day to end so that I can see you again and you'll be by my side for a long while. This message is just a reminder for you that you should get ready for our sweet meeting tomorrow and oh...I just wanted for you to know that you're really right...you look like you're mother so much...and she's a very nice woman too. She's a very kind woman too also your father I think he's too protective to you huh? I saw it on his actions to you....don't even ask me why do I knew all of that My Love, I know all your actions. I always have my eyes on you...everywhere...sincerely your Master]

Hyunjin's hands began to tremble and tears started to glitter from his eyes in fear by the message that he received when he suddenly heard a voice calling him from behind. He immediately bring his phone on the side pocket of his handmade sweater before silently scooping off his tears. He turned to the right side of him feeling the new presence and smiling at that person who's looking at him with concerns eyes.

"Minho hyung ah, did haraboji took hard on you on barbecuing the meat?" Hyunjin jokingly teased Minho who only rolled his eyes in annoyance before sitting beside him at the bench beside the lake side.

"Are you crazy? You left me with your scary grandpa, luckily Uncle Heejun was there to console me with your grandpa's judging stares, tsk" Minho annoyingly answered and Hyunjin just laugh happily by just imagining how his haraboji treating his every friends so intense like that, especially to someone quite stoic and easily annoyed person like Minho.

He didn't noticed how Minho's lips quietly formed a small smile seeing the latter genuinely laughing infront of him. Minho doesn't know how long he does not see that kind of Hyunjin since the unfortunate event happened to the other. Everyone might think that Minho doesn't care about anyone or anything especially to Hyunjin, like how fans always noticed how he treats Hyunjin but inside him he deeply cares for the latter, because deeply inside his heart and mind he wanted to protect the genuine innocence and carefree personality of Hyunjin. He's also hurting deeply when saw the drastic changes on Hyunjin's personality after the incident. Just like Chan's and the other members wish he also wanted to bring the old sweet and carefree Hyunjin he knows since their Trainee days. The Hyunjin who's always teasing him whenever he's not in the mood. The Hyunjin who's dramatically expressing his every emotions. The Hyunjin who's...who's lovingly cared for him and for all of the members. He truly miss those times so much. And all Minho's feeling was guilt whenever he sees the latter suddenly breaking down. If only Minho could turned back time, he would definitely not letting Hyunjin go home alone that night. Or if God could bring them an opportunity to know the people who's behind Hyunjin's distraught, he will kill them on his own hands even if it's against the law of God to kill, he will do it.
