Tiredness (AUTHORS NOTE!!!!)

Bricks pov:

After walking out of the store; I felt a little bit off for some reason, was it from seeing buttercup fall or was it the lonely feeling? Could been anyone's guess.
"Mmmm..."
"Oh, you good?" Good job Brick jojo; not making sure buttercups alright.
"Mhm,...but oh I do need..is those tots and water" she leaned over my shoulder more to grab them outta the hoodie pocket.
"You slowly sobering up? After that fall?"
"Yuppppp" said buttercup after shoving half the tots in her mouth. Yeah she didn't change one bit; still the same rude little bitch I fell for, well that was in the past anyways.

After minutes have passed; I stood in front of the field with buttercup on my back.
"We're almost there. You up?"
"Nooooope"
I shook my head in her response, yup baby sitting drunks are the worst
"Can we stay in the field just for awhile?" Said buttercup shoving her face into my shoulder as she held onto me tighter.
"How about no?" I said as I began walking into the field,
"Whyyyy?"
"Because I don't wanna be baby sitting you anymore"
"Drop me then, I ...I can watch myself" said buttercup as she hiccuped.
"Are you crazy? No we're going back home"
"Awww look brick j..Jojo cares" said buttercup while letting out a small laugh.
Yup that was it,
"Fine." I said while dropping her on the grass as I began walking back towards the dorms.
"Ouch...haven't I- I been dropped enough " buttercup hiccuped and began tryin to lift herself from the ground
She wasn't wrong; it'd take a few days for chemical x to completely heal her body, in the end it wasn't really my fault.
I let out a sigh while swallowing my pride,
"Do you wanna go to get more food?" Only way to cheer up the one and only green puff with anger issues.
Without a second thought, buttercup got up fast and let out a smile, this girl is way to easy to read.
"One condition tho, no more drinking. Try sober up"
"Sure thingggg"

Buttercups POV:

After him asking if I wanted food, I was greeted with a cold sandwich. I wanted fast food...
"Eat it, I didn't really get paid this week so it's really all I can afford"
"Really would want chicken instead, but thank thanks I guess" the alcohol wasn't really there no more, a few hours went by and I'm here at his dorm eating a sandwich, sigh...I should really call blossom to see where she's at.
"Don't look worried, boom texted me and said she was fine"
"Well you'd be worried to if you left your siblings drunk"
"Happens all the time, with Butch he was drunk every day. Even at school he always reeked like alcohol, sometimes he would be gone for days"
After hearing brick say that I felt a little sorry for him, the amount of stress he must have felt when Butch would pull something like that.
"Well, he's going back into that habit again" brick let out a sigh and opened the fridge to get a bottled water.
"Here"
Without hesitation he threw the bottle right at me catching me off guard, damn...wasn't my face bruised enough from the falls.
"You were suppose to catch it..."
"Sure thing" I glared at him as I was taking a sip from it, he hasn't changed a bit.
"You need ice?" He said while cracking a smile, this bitch tryna laugh at me, I let out a smile and without any warnings I kicked him hard in the shins, Serves him right.
"Awe does the baby need ice for that?"
"Shut up.."
"And I'll do it again, keep it up"  I ended up getting off the chair an headed towards the couch, I was honestly exhausted from the night.
As laid down I look a small glance at the clock, 3 am. Perfect; ugh school is gonna be a nightmare tomorrow.
"Why you tryna sleep now after keeping me up until my working hours" said brick while walking towards the couch.
"Huh?"
" I work at 5 am, I could have slept but I had to baby sit you so you don't become a missing person" he was letting out a small glare and proceeded to sit at the other end of the couch.
"Your problem not mine, you should have left me laying at the park or bar"
"So you can freeze to death?"
He wasn't wrong, I may have powers but my body wouldn't last in a cold night.
"I had everything under control"
"Sure thing, you barely could walk on your own"
"Awe so you were worried-" within seconds he threw the couch pillow at my face before I would even finish, I swear my face is getting abused a lot tonight.
"Try sleep"
"I'm fine, I should stay up with you. It's only fare"
"You think I wanna be near a grouchy person who needs there beauty sleep?" Said brick,
"Yeah yeah mr know it all"
After a moment of silence I glanced at brick to see him mostly asleep; fuck sake. Now I feel guilty for making him watch me...
I sat up and leaned next to him, I sure did feel kinda bad. I always put him threw so much; even as younger teens I sorta stress him out.

Hope you like to so far; I recently deleted book 1 to re do it. There was some sexual parts in it and I didn't feel comfortable w it anymore since I'm not gonna be a minor anymore.
But do know I was the same age as them when I was working on it (book1) 😅so please don't come at me anymore; I'm currently 17-18
I made that book I was (just turned 14) n it ending around the age of 16
(Same age as I made them be too in book 1).
I'll edit and make it more suitable for younger readers. But please note book 2 isn't for younger reader; this is a fully mature book; might have lemon or not idk yet. I don't know if wanna add it in or not (younger readers don't respect my wishes of only wanting 16+ to read) In this time area they are grown adults 👏 so they'll be swearing; n alcohol involved; also note that most of the ppg x rrb fan fics are mostly lemon and mature content (most of the creators themselves are 16-19). AHHH sorry I just don't wanna be "cancelled" because of the ppg fandom being more mature then the show attended it be.

I'm Almost an adult and I plan on finishing the book before I turn officially ✨18✨ in December

This book series has been apart of my young teen years and it means a lot to me; so enjoy the rest of the story :)
