Nezu lead him into the school, pointing out all of the rooms they passed and what they are used for. Deku made sure to memorise every single turn, he would be working there if things went well so he wanted to get a head start in scoping out the place. He especially took notice and memorized the places of the hero courses, there was no doubt in his mind that the hero course would need the most protection due to its nature.

Eventually they made it to the meeting room. None of the other teachers were there yet but he was early so he thought nothing of it. Eventually the heros started coming in. First was Cementos and Ectoplasm, after that Present Mic, after another couple of seconds Midnight strut in and the rest soon followed ending with Eraserhead.

"Now I'm sure you all know why we're here." Nezu began.

"I still have reservations about hiring a kid." Vlad spat out.

"Well I'm not a kid so I guess you're in luck." Deku lied, although he didn't feel like he was lying. His logic was basically 'I have seen more, survived more and am smarter than most adults therefore I am one of them.' Honestly a pretty childish mindset to have but still he was stubborn on not admitting his young age.

"Then how old are you?" Vlad questioned.

"Old enough to know that I don't have to give you any details about me I don't want to give, that was the deal unless you weren't informed." Deku said calmly trying really hard not to be confrontational.

"Now now you two we have other matters to discuss. So as I'm sure you are aware Deku we want to hire you as a sort of bodyguard for UA. You will probably be guarding the hero course students a lot and if there are any fieldtrips you will almost definitely be required but other than that just do what you have always done on your jobs." Nezu explained.

"Sounds easy enough." Deku commented.

"Oh also if you are up for it, maybe help out with some of the classes. This is one of the best hero schools afterall and though it might happen most villains would steer clear." Nezu said.

Deku was confused for a second, he only just thought that this was one of the best hero schools, with the best security and the best heros. "Why do you need or want me here?" He asked abruptly. Eraserhead sighed as if he knew this little problem would come up. " You already have everything you need to stop any villains that come your way..."

"The truth is All Might will be joining us for the next school year. I fear that with his addition more villains might try to attack in an attempt to bring down the image of the symbol of piece." All of the heros in the room were surprised that Nezu was trusting the vigilante with this kind of information. "Essentially you are here so that if anyone does try to attack we have another experienced fighter on our side plus the healing part of your quirk may come in handy should any of the students be harmed. Recovery Girl is a great healer but she can still get overwhelmed, especially because our school tends to attract more eccentric personalities.

"So basically a lot of students go too far and harm themselves in the process, got it. Honestly I can see how I would be useful to you in that sense, I can deal with exhausted patients since my healing only affects myself and not others." Deku accidently started rambling but he caught himself before he could go into All the ins and outs of why his quirk and his presence would be useful there.

"So Deku, will you be taking this job?" Nezu asked.

"Is there nothing else you need to know? Academics? Fighting style?"

"I believe we will find that out in due time."

"Anything important that I need to know?"

"Not that I know of, if something comes up I'll tell you."

"Alright I'll do it." Deku looked at Nezu with determination in his eyes.

Nezu clapped his paws together "Wonderful, by the way I wanted to ask if where you are living is close enough, if you live too far away we could set you up with a place closer by."

"No it's okay I live close enough." Deku responded.

"Alright! Well in a months time we will be having the entrance exam, would you like to watch?" Nezu asked. Deku thought about it for a minute 'it would be a good time to see what kind of quirks they have and what they could improve on, plus I can figure out which kids I would have to prioritise...'

"Yeah I'll be there, just tell me when." Deku said.

"Well I think we're done here, Aizawa will see you out." As Nezu says this Aizawa stands.

"Let's go." He says in his monotone voice. Deku follows him and once they're out the door he speaks up again. "So your gonna be here for the next year, forewarning you will probably be with my class a lot, Nezu always gives me the most troublesome kids." He grumbles.

"Because of your quirk right?"

"Yeah, my quirk makes them easier to manage but the strongest kids always seem to be the most eccentric." He shivers.

Deku chuckles "well if what you are saying is true then I'll be there to help you out."

Aizawa looks at him with a concealed smile. "I'm looking forward to it."

Deku waves at Aizawa as he walked away from UA. He could still hardly believe that he would be working there. He still wasn't sure if Nezu was telling him the whole reason he was there, he thought there had to be a bigger reason than just All Might would be there so they needed more protection. All Might should be that protection. Sure he was the symbol of piece so if someone wanted to take him down knowing he was at UA would be an advantage but then again, with all of the security in place with the addition of All Might being a powerhouse, there had to be another reason.

Deku decided not to linger on it too much. Even if he was sceptical what were they going to do? Kill him? He had already tried and honestly would be thankful if they succeeded. One day he might find out the reason but he guessed he didn't need to know right now.

He made his way back to his humble abode all the while checking that no one was following him. He might have to be more cautious when going in and out UA. If people see him or more specifically villains see him they might try and follow him, and that would be really bad if they found where he was currently living.

Finally he made it back. He looked at his bed and noticed how bad the surrounding area looked. It was covered in empty water bottles and wrappers and his bed was unmade with the pillows halfway across the room. It was a mess. He knew he wouldn't be going out for some time and so he decided to clean up. He grabbed all of his cleaning supplies and looked out to the aftermath of his depressive episode.
