Walking a pace behind him, i start to count the grey hairs on Jeremiah's head to calm my nerves.I reached 173 hairs as he abruptly came to a halt in front of a set of silver doors.

"Her majesty the queen and her highness the princess are meeting you in the tea room to get acquainted  until dinner is served"Jeremiah says to me.

"Any words of wisdom?"i ask.

He pauses for a moment,as if considering how to answer my request with as little words as possible.

"Talk as little as possible" He suddenly says and then he opens the grand doors without warning.

I look into the room and marvel at it's beauty.

White walls with roses engraved in silver, and a set of furniture in the middle,at the other end of the room, stood another set of tall silver doors.

I consider curtsying, but shove away the thought.

I stand tall , which isn't hard to do with my height , and my eyes immediately fall on the two women standing infront of me.

For a moment i am so struck by their beauty i can't say much.

The older one who i presume is the quenn appears to be in her late 30s although she's at least 50 since i know her as she was born in the early 70s.

Her light brown hair is wrapped in a delicate bun with a couple of strands falling over her face.

When she saw me, she brought up a hand up to brush a piece of her golden her from her pine green eyes.

Her full lips stretched into a tight smile as she saw me.

I smile back "Good afternoon your majesties"

i look to her left to see who i presumed was princess Alana.

They were sat around a glass table with an elegant afternoon tea set up for three.

Instead of sitting on an the elegant silver and blue sofa chair her mother was sat on , Alana was sat on a wheel chair.

I hardly noticed what she was sat on as i looked at her face.

She was deathly pale but that took away little of her beauty.

Her nose was lightly covered with freckles and her hair was nothing like her mother's light brown.

It was onyx, the colour of the night sky,and her eyes were the blue-green of mountain lakes.

Her pink lips rounded into a smirk as she gave me a calculating look and said " Nice to finally meet you Miss Elide"

i smiled, Medranians changed much of their American heritage but their accents certainly remained.

She gestured for me to sit on the chair across from her.

Her eyes didn't leave my face as i made my way to the chair.

Intelligence was beaming out of her teal orbs until i felt insecure about everything and anything she noted about me.

I quickly realised that although my sense of style was normal back home , it was certainly not going to do here.

The queen looked me up and down with obvious judgment,i enviously took in her and Alana's gowns and came to the conclusion that this palace hasn't been touched in century and neither has the country's fashion sense.

They dress like true royalty , which they most certainly are.

The queen turned to me as she said "Elide,  what a lovely name it is you have"
