Fear the Light

Getting ready

It was a bright night sky and the moon lit up the area, just great

I look over the walls and see that the coast is clear.
"No gops is site on the east side, good"

I write that down in my note pad that Dr. Logan let me and Nick barrow.

I head back in side though the home made entrance on the roof.

When I got down to the floor I saw Nick across the room, he was running over to me waving

"Hey Day!" He said finally reaching me out of breath

"Oh hey fabric how the area?"

"It's all clear on the west and south, how about you?" He said as we start to walk the the main area where everyone was to let them know

I flipped though the note pad Dr. Logan gave me to answer that quistion "Everything is clear North and east, so I think it's finally time"

"Yeah I'm not to excited to go out and try and do this but we kind of have to"

"Agreed, but I'm sure we will be fine" I said as I pushed open the door to the main area

We were greeted with some waves and hellos

"Hey Day Fabric you're back! How's the area?" Dr. Logan said

"Everything is clear so I think we are ready to leave in the morning"

"Alright do you both remember the path and everything we made"

"Yes we do and even better I made a copy of it so just in case me and Day could just look at that" Nick said excitedly pulling out the map he made

He also manages to make me smile and I don't know why

"Alright knowing that you guys are ready I advise going and getting a good night sleep and be ready in the morning"

"Understood" me and Nick said as we head to are 'rooms' which is just a room with make shifted beds

We both laid down in are 'bed' and Nick asked me something

"Hey Day" he said sadly

"Yeah?"

"Do you think we will die out there, and the others wouldn't care?"

"Well there is a chance but I think we will be fine, there isn't a big chance that that would happen and I'll make sure of it"

"Hehe alright I'll believe you"

"Hey Nick? What time do we leave again?"

"We leave at 5 am before the sun rises"

"O-okay I'll try and remember that but you're probably going to to have to remember me in the morning though"

"Hehehe yeah I know, it still hasn't gotten better has it?"

"No it hasn't and I don't think I ever will"

"Yeah I know but I still have hope, anyways we should probably get to bed now"

"Yeah you're right, goodnight fabric"

"Goodnight Day"

I was awoken at the crack of dawn by Nick

"Hey Day you up?"

"Yeah I'm up, why are we waking up this early?" I said tiredly rumbling my eyes

"Remember we are going to go to the town near by and get supplies"

"A-ah sh*t" my head started to hurt

"You alright?"

"Yeah yeah I remember now I'm going to go grab my bag" I said getting up and walking to the door "and remember to cover yourself entirely"

"Yeah yeah yeah I know I mean I made the thing so I should be fine"

"Alright I'll grab your bag for you" I said walking out the door hearing him say thanks though the door

"Alright this everything all ready?" Nick said getting his boots on

"Yeah we got everything"

"Alright let go the the entrance then" Nick said as we finally made it to the entrance as a start to the adventure that we have been dreading

We pushed up the door as Nick adjusted his helmet and we walking to the wall and opened the outer gate and took are first steps into the rising sun.
