Fear the Light

A long trip

We had been walking for about a couple hours now and we were coming up to a very important part of the map Dr. Logan gave us

It was a fork in the road, and by that I mean the forest up ahead so we had to make sure to go around it

If we went though it. that would be a terrible idea

Nick had the map in his hands making sure that we where going the correct detection

"Hey Day I gotta quistion" Nick said still look at the map for the fork

"Yeah?"

"Why don't we cut though the forest? I mean it would be just a straight path to the town now we gotta go all the way area the thing, I mean is there a reason for that" he looked back at me

"Well it just not a good idea those gobs practically rule over the forest if we went though there we would be died, it probably better that we go around it"

"Alright I mean that makes sense" "annnnd we are here the begining of the fork"

"Remember-"

"Yeah yeah I know we gotta go around it"

"I'm just making sure"

We went around the forest for so time and then we ran into a problem

"Nick stop" I said as Nick stop and look back at me to see what I was talking about, bad idea

A gob was coming for him a small one but one nun the less

"Yeah?" He said see the look on my face and turning back around to see the gop right in his face

I ran over and pulled him back before the gop swung at him

He fell to the ground behind me as I pulled out a pocket knife I had in my front pocket and stabbed the thing in the chest

It scream in pain as I finish it off by pulling out the knife and sticking it in the things neck demobilizing the thing for a time being
Until a bigger one comes

I go over to Nick making sure non of the sun's light got on his skin, he signs in relief as I help him up

"See this is why we call you the Day Walker"

"Yeah well I just glad you're okay, do you still have the map?"

"Yup I didn't manage to get a hold of it"

"Good now let continue and be more careful, we don't want you to die"

"I will I promise"

We finally made are way around the forest and made it to the town which looked pretty runned down

We made are way down there and look around for food, clothes, water, and some other things

I made my way to a shop that had food cans and water and I took the bag off my back and went on the ground and got all the cans I could and put them in the bag

I swear though I thought that someone was watching me, but I couldn't have been because he was getting clothes and fabric so he could make more day wear for the other who don't have any

I looked behind me and saw a figure move out of the door frame, I don't know what or who it is but I better keep me guard up, just in case

Me and Nick meet back up and we said what we managed to find

And it turns out that we got everything on the list and that was good so we start to make are way up to a tall building

This is where we were going to have to sleep the night because it was way to risky to go back at night

So we set up for a long night.
