(Y/N)'s P.O.V

"Pony do you have costumes?" I asked while walking up to him. "Why?" he asked. "Do you know what today is?" I asked. He looked around. Nervous. "Don't tell me it's our anniversary." he said frantically. "What? No." I said. "It has not been a month yet and why would I need costumes for our anniversary?" I asked. "oh yeah, then why do you need costumes?" "It's Halloween dummy." I said. "Oh yeah-h." he turned around. "Come follow me, I might have some in the closet." He walked towards the closet and I followed. Ponyboy started looking through the closet and pulled out an orange tote  and there was words written in marker and it said 'Halloween costumes.' "Well what do you want?" he asked. "We need matching ones." I said. "What?" "You're going trick-o-treating with me." I explained to him. "Hell no." he said. "Come on, we need to do cute couple things." I said. "Trick-or-treating is for babies." he said. I started looking through the tot full of costumes and then I saw two devil costumes. "We're being devils." I said. Ponyboy rolled his eyes, playfully. "Fine." is all he said. I smiled and pulled them out. "We'll get ready at night." "Alright."

Dally walked in the Curtis house. "What's up fuckers!" he yelled. Pony and I looked at him. "What's up." Pony said. "What are you two doing tonight?" he asked. "(Y/N) is making me go trick-or-treating." he murmured. "Ah, I see." he said while sitting down. "Well, There is a party going on tonight over at Buck's" Dally explained. "Yeah we should go do that instead (Y/N)." "We can do that after." I said. "How about I can drive y'all around if you guys want too." Dally offered. "Sure!" I said with excitement since we do not have to walk around all over Tulsa just for some treats. "Sounds great, I will pick you guys up tonight and after you guys are done with that we can go to that party." he explained. Pony and I looked at each other and we all came to an agreement. Dally made his way out of the house, Ponyboy and I sat down on the couch. "It's crazy that we use to hate each other." I said softly to Pony. "Yeah?" "Yep, now look at us. Dating." Ponyboy nodded in agreement. "What do you want to do in the future, like after you graduate?" Ponyboy asked. "I don't really know." I answered. "Fair enough, we're still young and even when we graduate and you don't know, it will be okay because we still have time." he explained. It is true after we graduate high school, we're still 17 or 18 and we have our whole lives ahead of us. We think we do not have enough time but we truly do. We just have to think over what we really want to do for our future and our careers. In the end it will pay off whatever we put our minds too.

Ponyboy snapped me out of a daze by asking "Have you thought about ever getting married and having kids?" I thought for a moment. "Maybe, I am not really sure yet." I answered to him. "Alright, I- uh- no rush, I really was just wondering." he said. "it's alright, us being curious leads to questions." I said. "Right."

We have been waiting in the house for a few hours and just waiting for time to ever speed up. So how we've been passing time by asking each other questions and watching Mickey Mouse which I learned Two-Bit loves. "Do you think we should start this book thing?" Ponyboy asked. "Probably, we'll get to it later." 'Fair enough." I got up and gathered the belongings for the costumes. "Ready?" I asked. "I guess but no make-up." Ponyboy said. "Fine." I stated.

It was coming closer to dusk out and I got Ponyboy ready in his costumes first. "Alright, I will get ready in my costume. I will be right back." I scurried to my room and got undressed. I looked at the costume, it was a short little red dress and devil horns headband. I got dressed into the costume and put on a little bit of make up to make the outfit pop. I looked in the mirror and stared at myself thinking if Pony would like this. 'Alright.' I said to myself. 'here we go.' I stepped out of the room to go look for Ponyboy. I heard people at the front door so I walked over to see Ponyboy and a girl with red hair. "Oh you look cute in that." I heard the girl imply to Pony. I was standing from a distance so they wouldn't notice that I was listening to them. "Oh- uh thanks?" Ponyboy said nervously to her. "Are you going out tonight?" she asked. "uh yeah- to a party." he chuckled in awkwardness. "Oh-h I see." she said. "Maybe I'll see you there." caressed his cheek.  "Right." she walked off then Ponyboy turned around to see me behind him. "Seriously!?" I questioned him. Ponyboy just looked at me dumbfounded. "what?" he asked me. "Who was she?" "No one." Pony said. "Another one of your hoes?" I asked him. Mad. "No, what?" he was acting like he is stupid or something. "She fucking touched your face like you two were in love!" I yelled. "No- no you got it all wrong (Y/N)!" "Oh? I do? She was fucking flirting with you and touched your face! Why are you making yourself look like you're available?" I asked him. "Available?" he questioned. "Forget it. Just forget about tonight. I am going out." I said. I walked past him to the door. "Where are you going?" he asked. "Out."
