44. FIRST Slap

Nandini woke up to her alarm and saw her husband snuggling into her chest after their make out. She released herself from his grip, making him stir in sleep and went to freshen up. True to her wish, last night's happenings will definitely remind her of him in every step that she takes and every move that she makes for the next two weeks probably while the marks on her body will atleast take 3 weeks to fade out.

She got ready and came out to see Manik scrolling through his mobile, resting his back to the headboard, naked upper body while the rest was covered with duvet. She blushed seeing him and went on to brush her hair. As expected, he came and back hugged her, placed a small peck on her cheek and went to get ready. She smiled looking at him when he made his way towards restroom and took a pair of casuals for him.

She checked the time and he still have 3 hours to start to airport. She waited for him to come out and he passed his charming smile taking the clothes that she kept on the bed.

"Manik..." She called out and he just hmmed with buttoning the shirt.

"We still have 3 hours to go to airport na...? Did you pack everything or you want me to check once again...??" She asked looking at him.

"Nope...I kept everything and yeah...I have to take few files from study...I will take it once we go down..." He paused and then continued looking at her through the reflection "And one more thing...You are not coming to the airport..."

"What...Why...??" She squealed and stood up.

"Relax..." He said turning towards her.

"Why shouldn't I come...??" She asked innocently.

"Because I can't go seeing you..." He said and kissed on her cheek. She pushed him softly and pleaded "Please na Manik..."

"No Nandu..." He said again and took his watch from the side table.

"Please Manik...Let me come with you till airport...If you don't take me with you, I'll drive the car by myself and come behind you..." She said making him pass a glare at her.

"I said NO and don't you dare touch the car in my absence...It was a year back I taught you to drive just in case of emergency and you are definitely not going to drive anytime soon...I'm warning you..." He said strictly.

"I wasn't serious..." She said slowly to which he replied "But I'm serious Nandu..."

She understood that she shouldn't drag it further. She made a face and sat on the bed with a pout to which he chuckled immediately.

"Come...It's been hours since you ate something..." He said making his way out of the room and she murmured "Monster" before following him.

They wished his parents who were waiting for them at the dining table and Nyonika served them their breakfast.

"Manik...Do you want me to come to airport...??" His dad asked and Manik immediately replied "Umm no need Dad...I know you have a business party...Friends will be coming to send off..."

"Cool...Just make a call whenever needed...Have you kept the necessary files...?? I have mailed the needed ones to you..." Raj asked and he replied positively.

"Manu...When shall we go...??" Nyonika asked.

Manik rolled his eyes looking at both the women and said "You both are not coming...Just stay home..."

Raj chuckled as if he expected making Nyonika glare at him and she asked "Why...?? We will also come to airport na..."

"No need Mom..." He declared while both Nandini and Nyonika passed looks of defeat. Just then his friends joined and they had a talk for some time while both the ladies tried to plan something so that they can go with him to airport.
