Scot and I talked until I fell asleep at the end of the bed. I remember that we we're talking about what happened in 9th grade one time. Me and Scot were partners for a net book project in science . We talked about somethings he didn't like that girls did and at the time destiny liked him and he told Me about how he didnt want to ruin their friendship and he didn't like her like that.... well the next day to school it seemed like everyone knew about our conversation and this girl decided to tell destiny all these lies when I had knew the truth....... I was the one that told destiny what we talked about to clarify that all the things she was told was a lie.
I woke up to someone shaking me. As I open my eyes I see a red bandana and automatically say" I love you". " i love you to" Ashton says" now get up it is almost noon" he says pulling me up" really?" I ask" yup......... you and Scot stayed up until like 5 in the morning" he says pushing the hair that fell out my bun. " Ohhhh..... I had no idea I stayed up that late...." I say hugging him. " I know" he says before kissing me. Jack walks in and says " hey gummy bear....." his smile was so big. I suddenly hear his phone vibrate. As he looks at it his smile falls and I can see he is at the brink of tears. " what is it jack?" I ask standing up" I got a text from Amber" he says handing me the phone to read. It said" I miss you.... please. Come home....... you're the one... the only One" . After I read it I became upset. I could tell that he wanted to go back but also wanted to stay.
As soon as I went to say something destiny walked in" hey......" she let her sentence drag. " what happened" she says as she takes the phone. As she reads I could tell she was furious. When destiny finished If on Que Jack's phone vibrated. It read Amber. " Do not..... it repeat DO NOT cuss her out.... be nice" i say" I promise" destiny says before answering" hello?" She says and before I know it she is cussing at her. I run to get the phone but destiny runs and screams more words at her. When I finally get the phone she looks at me with the worst look. As soon as she sees me she realised that I saw a part of her she never showed me. I take the phone" hey.... Amber it's Kate. ... I'm sorry about that can I call you back later" I say" yea" she's says as she hangs up. I just stare down as destiny stands there in shock of what just happened. I looked at her and I could feel how scared I looked. Why didn't I know.the side I just saw?.... how didn't I ever see this side?
" Katie....... I'm sooooooo sorry.... you know I didn't mean any of what I said" she says walking towards me. I put me hand out motioning her to stop" I don't care if you meant it or not..... I'm just wondering if that side is going to show again..... so please go home and calm down....... I love you and I hate to see you like this" I say" I love you too Kate And I will call you tonight okay" she says. I just nod and walk to see jack and Ashton. " bye" she says.
When I walk in I see Ashton and jack talking and looking scared. " here" i say faintly as I toss jack his phone. When he catches it I lay down on the bed and pulled the covers over me. Ashton and Jack layed on both sides of me" it will be okay babe" Ashton would say " the strong willed, crazy funny Katie is still there it's just you need a break" jack would say after. I began to cry because they were being so nice even though I was alright. Destiny was upset so I didn't blame her.
All of the sudden the phone rang" jack can you get that?" I ask" yea" he says grabbing my phone and answering. " hello?" He asked" hey Destiny..... she is here but she is laying in bed almost asleep so I don't want to.bother her" he says looking at me. " okay I will tell her you called...... buh bye" he says hanging up The phone. " thanks " I say as he layed back down" welcome" he replies snuggling close. I felt like a Ashton and Jack sandwich but it felt good to have two great guys be there for me even though I was fine.
