i watched katie and her dad dance and i realized that she was a great daughter and now a great wife and mom. When the dance ended she walked over to me " did you have fun" i ask "yea.... im really going to miss them whenthey leave again" she says .i was too ..... they were like my own family now and i loved them as much as i loved my own family.Then everything went silent . when me and katie turned we saw mikey on one knee "will you marry me?" he asked. who was he propsing to? then when i heard her say yes i know who it is .... Faith. "yes...i will" i hear her say. I turned to look at katie... she wore so many emotionson her face happiness, anger, saddness and many more that i hadnever seen in her. she then turns around and walks away. i knew why because faith stole the spot light from her on her wedding day and what makes it worse is that faith was going to leave but now she has to stay.
I walk to Mikey "hey man" he says smiling" hey..... why did you just ruin our wedding by proposing to faith right after katie told her to leave tomorrow because she was trying to get with me' i say angrily but then automatically regretting what i said " i though it would be a good idea since her family was here im sorry man..... wait what did you say?" he says "nothing but i know you meant well but katie is really upset and she doesn't exsactly like faith right now" i say " i know im sorry bro" he says "its cool now i got to go find my bride' i say as i run in the direction she went.
When i reach the church i see her sitting there on the steps playing with her dress. "hey" i say "hey..... im sorry... lets go back" she says "are you sure i mean i understand if you wanna stay here Mrs.Irwin" i say " no Mr.Irwin lets go" . As we walk back we see faith and mikey in a heated argument and then we see destiny off to the side watching them with a big smile. Shetold mikey what happened....... and now i feel guilty. I walked up to mikey and faith as they hug " you guys okay?" i ask "yea man im sorry about what faith did and she says she feels really bad about it" he says.... " its cool.... lets just have fun i mean we are at a wedding"i say laughing.
I meet katie in the middle of the dance floor for our first slow dance together. as we dance i see luke and destiny talking as they dance. " so Mrs.Irwin how do you think we are going to do as anew married coupleand as parents an infant?"i asked.She laughed then said " well Mr.Irwin i think we are going to do just fine". the night went on for what felt like days.
when the party was over me and katie left Cassidy with Luke and destiny and we went home. we played heads up, guess who, and more. the fun lasted until 4 in the morning when katiefinally layed on the couch and fell asleep. Since i wasn't tired i did the laundry , the dishes and all the other stuff she would usually do. I promised myself today that i was going to be the best dad and the perfect husband for my 2 angels.
