I rush back to my room but I feel as though someone is following me. I ignore it and continue to enter my room because I needed to make sure I brought something special of mine.
I searched through all my bags and couldn't find it so I start to stress a little. "It's fine, it's fine. It's somewhere in here" I reassure myself. I heard a small thud on my door so I force it open with my wand to see that I knocked over Malfoy when I forced the door open.
"You git! I demand a reason why you are in my room." I yelled angrily. He just stared at me coldly and was trying to find an excuse on why he was standing before my eyes.
"I want to know why you aren't intimidated by me" Malfoy snarled. I don't know why he's getting all worked up. Was I supposed to be afraid of this guy? He walked in and started looking around. I waved my wand and knocked him down out of the door.
"For bloodys sake what the hell was that. I thought you were dumb." Malfoy shouted. He seemed upset but he was wasting the time I had to find what I was looking for before class. "Invading my privacy I see? Did your parents even teach you manors? Stay out!" I warned him looking him dead in the eyes.
As he left I continued searching but I couldn't find it. I had 30 minutes until classes started so I gathered my belongings and headed off to my first class.
As I walked into the classroom I kept my head held high while everyone continued whispering. That Malfoy boy along with Potter kept giving me dirty looks so I flung their books off of their tables.
"Malfoy, Potter, I suggest you two keep your belongings next to you and to not disturb the classroom." Slughorn warned. A smirk whipped across my face trying to hold back laughter. The looks on their faces were priceless.
The lesson started but this was review for me. I've learned quite a bit from Severus over the years so there is no doubt that this year will be easy. Slughorn was impressed with my skills and had handed me a note.
Miss Lockheart,
After you've attended your first class meet me and Severus for a lesson in the courtyard. This is crucial.
- DumbledoreAfter I read the note I tucked it into my pocket and reviewed the pages after my potion was finished.
Class ended and I started to make my way to the courtyard but I could feel a cold presence. My back turned behind me to see if there were people behind me but it was empty. I just shrugged it off so I can make it to Dumbledore and Severus on time.
POV- Draco Malfoy
That dimwit embarrassed me in class. I will get her back for it! So I noticed she had gotten a note and wanted to see what she was up to. If she continues this nonsense surely my father will be hearing about this.
I follow her after class but Potter decided to follow too. Why does he always have to be so obnoxious? She turns around so I quickly turn the corner while keeping her in sight. Harry just uses his invisible cloak which is a complete idiot move.
She left and I don't know where she left to. "What are you doing here Malfoy? Go and run back to where you came from." Potter said angrily. "I don't take orders from you Potter. She's up to something and I want to get back at that dimwit and see what she's up to." I said sternly.
As I continue to find out where she went I spot her in the courtyard with just dumbledore and Snape. Nothing suspicious yet but Potter keeps following me. Fucking git.
I focus on what they are doing and it looks like they are teaching her magic that I haven't seen before. Sparks fly off her wand while she attempts to do what she's told but the dumbass she is can't even cast the spell.
"I can't do it! We've been at this for 20 minutes. I should've gotten this down the first try." She sounded disappointed as she yelled. What a dimwit.
"You will only succeed when you put your heart into it." Dumbledore explained. "I went over everything a dozen of times and did all the steps." She had explained with a confused look in her eyes. "We will attempt this lesson again tomorrow Lockheart." Snape had said as if he was disappointed.
POV- Flora Lockheart
The spell they are teaching me is the hardest thing I've attempted. I have reviewed everything in my head. I should've mastered it by now like every other thing I've learned. As I try over and over I keep failing.
"You will only succeed when you put your heart into it." Dumbledore had explained. "I went over everything a dozen of times and did all the steps." I had explained to him with a confused look. It should've worked. What does he mean putting my heart into it? What does the old man want me to do? Rip my heart out?
"We will attempt this lesson again tomorrow Lockheart." Snape had said as if he was disappointed. I genuinely tried my hardest. After Dumbledore and Severus left I kept trying it over and over again. I've been at it for hours now but I finally got it.
"What are you doing?" Malfoy said with a cold stare. "None of your business. I'm headed to sleep. Better not follow me." I said annoyingly. Why does this boy keep following me. "This is a warning. Leave me be Malfoy." I had warned him but he just smirked. His presence annoyed me. I feel like I can't do anything with him or Potter around. Can a girl get her peace?
"Oh is that so? He said while inching close to me. I walked up to him until our faces were only two inches apart and I whisper in his ear, "leave. Me. Be."
I walked off so I can take a Luke warm bath to clear my head and figure out what Dumbledore meant but putting my heart into the spell. I did the spell but I don't think I put my heart in it.
A/n- I hoped you enjoyed it. I'm not the best at this kind of writing but the next chapter will have more interesting plots in it.
