Dance lessons have started and guests don't arrive for another 3 hours. Prince Baudouin hasn't shown like he was suppose to so our dance coach focuses on me and Draco. My mother eying, making sure plans go accordingly.

"Oh Malfoy. What are we gonna do with you? You've stepped on my toes nearly 13 times already." I teased trying to take things seriously. "Is that so princess?" He replied taking my waist as we waltz across the room. My foot slips on my gown and I come close to falling until he catches me before it happens. We start giggling until my mother gave us that look.

"Sorry Madame Fae for my absence. I had to finish my duties." Baudouin announced. Just when I was enjoying the moment, feeling the happiest I've been in a while, he had to show his face. Baudouin makes Draco step aside and takes my hand to finish off the dance lesson.

"Well done you two! That was incredible Sir Hanson!" The dance coach cheered. After lessons we prepared for hours but I've noticed how tired Draco had looked. "Draco? Did you get any sleep last night?" I concerningly asked him as he looked completely exhausted out. "Uh yeah of course I slept well. Come on now we haven't got much time until guests arrive." He lied hiding the fact that he was worn out.

Hours later of preparing guests started to arrive. The big moment my father use to tell stories and all the excitement I had when I was a young child was turned into anxiety. Ella laces the back of my new gown as negative thoughts on how bad this ceremony could go take over my head.

It was time. As I walked down the stairs I could see Draco waiting down the stairs with Narcissa and Lucius by his side. Who else was down there though was Baudouin, waiting to escort me for the first dance. He greeted me as I lay my foot off the steps and guiding me to the middle of the floor I couldn't help but to keep my eyes on Draco. I never knew how much Draco had meant to me until I was dancing with someone who I barely know who I'll have to marry in a few years.

"Princess, it seems that your mind has drifted off somewhere else." Baudouin abserved. I quickly turn back to look at him as he looked upset and tried to reassure him I was alright. "Uh yeah I'm just nervous. Sorry."

We finished up our dance and now it's time to cast the spell. As I lift up my wand and get ready to cast the spell Baudouin backs away quickly. "Witch! She's a witch!" He yelled. Confusion stirs the room as most of our guests except for the ones his family had invited were witches or wizards. "What is the matter Hanson? Yes im a witch and so are the people in this room. Aren't you a wizard?" I questioned as he feared me backing away again.

"Why would you think I'm some freak??" He asked panicking.

"I am not to marry some mudblood let alone a muggle." I argued back at him.

If this doesn't prove enough to my mother that he wasn't just a mudblood, he was a muggle! Thankfully there weren't too many to obliviate. My mother walks up behind me with the expression of fear unknowing what to do. "Mother we have to obliviate the muggles and escort them out now. Then we continue with the ceremony." I informed but she sat there still in disbelief that she was wrong.

Draco stands beside me as we take action in our own hands and have the guards escort the muggles and the Hanson family to the castle gates. With Lucius, Draco, and Narcissa by my side we obliviate them all. We had someone escort them back to their homes.

When we returned the ceremony continued on after my mother apologized to the rest of the guest. Trying to save our reputation and it seemed to have worked. I casted the spell and was successful. When it came time for the last dance I slowly made my way to Draco. As eyes around the room all watched over me. "But Flora, I can't really dance." He pleaded. I grabbed his hand pulling him to the center of the room anyways. "Yes you can silly. Just do it the way you did at dance lessons without the stepping on my toes part." I had teased noticing the slight smile appear on his face.

Draco swept me off my feet and we glided across the floor. We starred into each others eyes not letting go of eye contact. The movement of our dance matching the music perfectly. He placed his hands on my waist lifting me in the air. Feeling weightless in that moment. After my feet reach back onto the floor we make eye contact once again finishing off.

In that moment I knew. Draco Malfoy is the one I want.

Applauses circles around the room. My mother's feared expressions whittled away. An expression other than disappointment had appeared. The whole room filled with joy and whispers. In the corner of my eye I notice Draco's parents were filled with joy as well.

"Well done Draco. You didn't step on my toes once." I teased one last time.

"As for you princess. Your dancing skills are... decent." He teased back with that very well known smirk of his.

A/n- wow, a soft side of Draco?? We've seen a lot of that lately. But I would have to say I loved writing this chapter and very excited to come up with some more here soon!!
