"Well from what I can observe you two tolerate each other." I hear a voice as I lift my head from Draco's chest seeing his father standing at the end of the bed frame. "Yes father, she helped me when my nightmares had continued again." He explained. I'm assuming these nightmares happen more often than just once. His father seems aware of them as well.
"Oh Draco why didn't you tell me?" He asked with a worried expression. Draco went on about how they started to pick up again recently. "Morning breakfast is downstairs if you'd like some before we start our day." Lucius invited us as we followed downstairs. The manor isn't as dark as it usually is. Light shining through every drape that was open.
Breakfast finished and Draco showed me places he would play and practice magic when he was a child. His father flipped through albums of their past years. We sat in the lounge room, enjoying the free moment we had just being ourselves.
A noise comes from another room so we all sprinted to see what the matter was. Narcissa standing in the middle of the room. Why did she come back? The room was silent and cold.
"I see we have a visitor. Who is this young lady joining us?" Narcissa asked acting like she doesn't know who I am. She doesn't seem different though. She probably doesn't want to give away the fact that she's been staying in my castle for years.
"Narcissa! My love you've returned. I'm so sorry for whatever I've done to cause you to leave in the past." Lucius cheered as they hugged tightly. As Lucius had his faced the other direction she lifted up her finger and pressed it against her lip warning us not to share anything.
"Mother, it's great to see you again. Where have you been?" Draco asked with excitement in his eyes.
"I've been exploring the world a bit. I know Voldemort wasn't very fond of it but I had a talk with him. Don't worry I won't be going away no more. I've explored as much as I could, seeing each inch of the world!" She lied fooling Lucius. It's for the best though.
"It's pleased to meet you Mrs. Malfoy. I'm Flora Lockheart. Princess of Elleseme." I stated.
"It's an honor to meet you Flora! Me and Lucius were great friends with your mother back in our Hogwarts days." She explained with excitement in her eyes. She walked up to me to give me a hug and whispered in my ear to play along and tell Draco too.
"Sweet Flora, could you also tell your mother next time you see her that I send my thoughts and prayers to your family." She stated while playing along.
"Oh dear Flora! I was great friends with your father at Hogwarts as well. How could I be so foolish, princess? We miss him very much." Lucius explained as they all bowed before me. Including Draco? "Thank you guys for being supportive but you don't have to bow. At all. You guys have been so kind though." I giggled.
Narcissa joined us for the rest of the day before Draco and I had to head back to Hogwarts. I could really tell that Lucius and Draco were happy that Narcissa was back home. Only makes me wonder though if my kingdom was in harm. I hate to wonder the worst but I don't understand why she's back.
I head to the room were I stayed the night and gathered my belongings. I have a port key that heads to my castle and while I could make them think I'm heading back to Hogwarts I can actually see what's going on.
"Do you know-" Draco attempted to ask before I placed my finger on his lips to shut his loud mouth. "While you head back to Hogwarts I need to visit my home." I stated. "I'm coming with you." He blurted with no hesitation. "No you can't. I must see if everything is alright with my mother. I'm gonna grab my port key and you'll grab yours." I tried explaining clear enough so that airhead would get it through his dull brain.
Lucius and Narcissa came in to say their farewells for now and Draco grabbed onto the port key I had for my castle last minute like a bloody idiot.
"Woah." He voiced while we transported to the great hall of my home.
"I said to not grab mine you bloody arse!" I yelled to see my maid Ella walk up to me.
"Nice to finally see you again Flora! You're mother would be thrilled to know you are visiting and have brought a guest! Dinner will be ready in an hour." Ella greeted with a smile on her face.
"Well well, we meet again Flora." Baudouin gasped as he takes my hand and before he kissed it I swipe my hand out of his.
"Baudouin, why are you here?" I hissed with Malfoy eying me the whole time. "You see here princess, you have no other choice than to marry me. You're mother even has encouragement about this. You should get use to it." He boasts while fiddling with his wand in hand with an evil sneer in his face.
He walks around me in a circle.
" Flora Fae Hanson. Has a sweet ring to it don't you think boy." He taunted while walking towards Draco.
Draco backs up from Baudouin with my mother approaching. "My sweet Flora! Im glad you have come to visit home at the perfect time. You've even brought a guest! Im glad to see you and Prince Hanson are together again." My mother announced walking even closer to us. I look to Malfoy to find his mouth zipped shut and fear spread his face.
We joined everyone for dinner and the same as always. Moonlight shines upon our family crest giving the room an emerald cold tint. The air is eerie as my mother and king Hanson made conversation planning my future ahead. She fakes the pride she has in me that is actually disappointment, manipulating the family she wants me to marry in.
King Hanson and his son are escorted out as my mother starts questioning me and Malfoy. "So what brings you two here?" My mother demanded sending chills down my spine. "I wanted to visit home mother." I trembled as I was afraid to speak after what happened at my ceremony. "It's not great to lie to your mother Flora." She warned. My heart races trying to plan what to say next.
"Fine. You want to know the truth. Draco is a Malfoy. Narcissa is his mother and she had returned home to her family after staying with us. I thought our kingdom was troubled." I let out being as honest as I could.
"You should've just told me that in the first place dear. Welcome Draco. There's something you should know. The both of you." She stated while Draco continued with fear in his eyes and could finally understand how intimidating she could be.
"Your mother Draco. Is a dear friend of mine. Your father too. She's gone through a lot over the past years and has been sick. Now she's better I encouraged her to go back for good this time. Not just some visits here and there." she explained but I felt that something was off.
Something she wasn't telling us.
"Thank you Queen Lockheart, we appreciate all your help protecting my mother." Draco answered back bowing his head down. My mother crept up to him and lifted his chin and looked into his eyes. She lifted her wand not knowing what she was about to do so I lifted mine too.
"Mother, I don't understand what you're doing." I cried out in fear but my mother just started laughing. Has she gone mental?
"You really think I would hurt him? I was just looking at how he has his mother's eyes. Why are you acting like this dear?" She turned to me with a smirk on her face. That's how I knew I was panicking over nothing. She's just messing with me like she use to the last time I had a boy other than Baudouin in the castle.
"You like this boy don't you?" She teased knowing I don't want to marry Baudouin. Draco had that nervous smirk on his face and messed with his hair. I notice he got nervous for whatever I was going to say. "I don't wish to Marry Baudouin mother. He doesn't even seem fit for a king. Have you ever thought of the chances of him being a mudblood? You wouldn't want me to marry someone who associates with muggles." I panicked with pressure and fear carried on my shoulders...
A/n- I've started coming up with ideas of 2 ways this could go. Let's see what I decide ;) stay tuned!!
