Kissing Draco back was a big mistake. How could I let myself do that. Foolish move. I can't trust anyone. Once we arrive back at Hogwarts I walk away. I feel hurt by my own actions. I hope I didn't hurt him. Why am I caring? Forget about it. The words he said explains himself clearly.
Enemies.
I come back to my room to find a black smoke appear then suddenly someone strange is sitting on my bed.
"Hello Lockheart..." the strange woman said. "Why are you here?" I said sneeringly. She walked up to me and held her wand to my neck without hesitation. "You are coming with me. No choice." She warned. We vanished to some place very unfamiliar but the air felt the darkest of dark.
POV- Draco Malfoy
As I arrive in class the anger still fills my body. I seat myself as class begun.
"Miss Lockheart are you here?" Slughorn accompanied by Snape by his side had asked. Her seat sits empty. The room fills with whispers and suspense. "Class is dismissed everyone head to their dorms!" Snape warned. Somethings not right.
As everyone left I stayed slowly gathered my belongings while overhearing Slughorn and Snapes conversation.
"It's very unlikely for the princess to not arrive to class. We shall search everywhere. Better not disappoint me." Snape hissed at Slughorn. "Surely she is just feeling ill." Slughorn suggested but Snape wasn't buying it. "Have someone search her room and inform Dumbledore." Snape demanded.
I continue without them realizing I'm still there so I ran out the room while I had the chance. Was this my doing? Bloody nightmare. Why do I care? She probably is throwing a bitch fit.
The halls are empty as if no one was attending. All professors roam the halls searching for Flora. I head to the common room to find everyone spreading rumors.
"That little petty princess always ruining everything."
"Her father probably spoils her and she's probably just back at her castle."
"Who are you kidding who actually believes in all this? She's probably not even a princess."
All the rumors roam around the room while everyone gets stirred up making up things about her. "EVERYONE SHUT THE BLOODY HELL UP!" I yell so everyone could hear.
"So you care about this incompetent git" Blaise said only making me more stirred up.
"I don't care about her. She's worthless and probably a lair. You guys are just giving her attention." I hissed at Blaise.
I left to my dorm to clear all my thoughts until something I touched turned out to be some sort of port key.
"Draco my boy. No time no see. Come with me." My father said while leading me to this meeting room filled with death eaters but Voldemort wasn't there. I look up to see that Flora was sitting at the table.
"Now that Draco is here we can continue."
"Flora is our newest asset to help us."
"Oh yes she's our most powerful useful tool against Potter."
Why is she here? Is this where she had been? Her cold eyes guide through the room until she finds mine.
"Meeting is dismissed."
We were sent back to Hogwarts and I ended up back to my room. I search the halls to see if much has changed but it seems as they are still searching for her.
I head out to where she had her last lessons when my mother arrived that day. I found Flora laying on the wet grass fiddling with her wand.
"Tell me what that was about." I snarled at her. She got up putting her wand away in the process. Not a word comes out of her mouth. She sits there motionless and emotionless.
Look at this bloody mess. Why was she in a meeting with me and my father? Was she forced in this too? I walk up to her and she lays her eyes upon me. Her face as pale as a ghost. I lift her into my arms and picked her up. As no one was looking I carried her into my room.
I placed her gently in my bed then started pacing around the room. Why isn't she speaking? No emotions. Just pure coldness radiates from her.
"Look just tell me why." I pleaded. She turned her head towards me and cradles a blanket in her arms. "I had no choice. They were-" she cut off with the look realizing that she's said too much. "Look Flora you can tell me. My apologies for what I said that night but I need to know why. Did they force you too?" I tried to say so I can get her to explain.
As I continue pacing around the room she finally lets words roll off her lips. " They threatened that they would destroy what was left of my kingdom. I have to follow orders." She let out as tears slip from her face yet still had the look of no emotion. "What orders Flora? What orders?" I try to say while still trying to keep my voice down.
"I have to kill him. It's the only choice I have." She explained. "Who? Who do you have to kill?" I say trying to understand forgetting everything we were told that meeting.
"I must go." She said while trying to get up but she almost fell. She landed in my arms as she tried pushing her body weight up but she was weak. "You can't. No one can see you like this Flora. Damn it they are searching for you. Everyone is. But you are weak." I say while pulling her back up on my bed.
"I'm not weak Malfoy. I just need to go. I've already said too much." She tried to sound convincing so I could let her go but her foolishness is going to get her killed. I knew that she wouldn't just head back to her room.
She would actually kill him. I'm not very fond of Potter either but Voldemort very clearly made it known that he has to be the one to kill Potter. So why are the death eaters going against him.
"Draco. He killed my father." She said weakly. "Who?" I answered back. "Potters father." She let out. "I thought he was dead. Voldemort killed both him and Lily." I tried explaining to her. "No. That's what potters father wanted you all to think." She sounded convinced by whatever nonsense was put in her head. "I must attend to my duties. To protect my kingdom." She said finding herself able to stand up.
As soon as she stood up I pushed her back on the bed. Gently. She's weak remember? I'm not completely heartless. "This is not the time Draco. I need-" I tried to shift the conversation a different direction so she could stop putting herself in danger.
I tried talking her ear off just rambling on and on until she finally drifts to sleep. As I find the chance I could I find a way to sneak her back into her room.
I tucked her in trying not to wake her and slip a note underneath her arm so she could find it in the morning. I'm just hoping she doesn't do anything stupid.
It's hard because if she doesn't protect her kingdom her mother and my mother might be murdered. If she kills Potter she will get herself killed. Not from Potter but Voldemort.
After I slip the note under her arm I kissed her forehead and headed to one of the professors.
"Ma'am, Flora has been found. She just wondered off a little too far into the dark forest but she walked off to her room after I had found her." I explained trying to be as convincing as I could be.
"Thank you Draco, I'll go to check up on her." McGonagall informed me.
"She seemed tired and exhausted from whatever she was doing so she might be asleep by now." I tried continuing on with my made up story. I'm just hoping Flora reads that note and go along with the story.
