Lets Dissapoint Each Other

Stubborn little prat she is. I've dragged myself into this shit.

I regret it all.

As I pace feeling my footsteps leaving a mark every time I take a step.

"You know Malfoy things would be simpler if you weren't in my life. All you do is ridicule me and misunderstand a single thing I say and do." She stated clearly. "Get out. Go back and get yourself killed! I can't even look at your face. Leave." I yelled not wanting to put up with this useless little prat any longer.

I watched as she stared straight into my eyes guiding herself out the door. We were never meant to be.

POV- Flora Lockheart

I'm done with the distractions. Time for business. What a pity. I hadn't realized it until alcohol was in my system.

The next morning-

Really sucked that the meetings were at the Malfoy manor. I'm forced to be around him. "Miss Lockheart. Do you happen to know who Narcissia is being held?" Voldemort hissed with his cold fingers lingering against my chair. "No master. I don't suppose I'm familiar with the name." I said sternly trying to sound convincing. "Lucius, do you so happen to know where your wife is?" Voldemort breathed next to his neck. "Master, no word spoken for years between me and Narcissa. She ran." He stated. Draco fidgeted his fingers like an incompetent fool. Body language shares stories more than words but Voldemort didn't pay mind to it.

What did he want with her anyways? We all have to do what we have to do to survive. "Why don't we just kill the boy already?" Lestrange had asked. "As blood thirsty you are I shall be the one to kill." Voldemort warned. "This meeting shall continue 4 days later at dawn." He added on.

We all cleared our seats but Lucius had invited me to stay and join for dinner. Everyone else had left but it was just us 3. I don't know much about his father but I couldn't say no.

We had placed our seats in another dining room with food already placed on the table. "So miss Lockheart it's a pleasure that you had joined us." Lucius chuckled taking a sip of the fine wine sat in front of us. "Thank you sir, it's an honor. When I have duties I must complete them." I replied but I let the food sit cold on the table. Not a word from Draco. "Rumors told that you are a PureBlood princess." Lucius observed. "That's correct. The blood line of our family goes on for generations and it's an incredible honor to represent our house and kingdom like past generations before me. Two years from now I'll be queen." I explained while Lucius looked quite impressed.

"Draco you hear that? I think she would be a great influence on you. Someone your age. Maybe you two could spend more time with each other since you guys are around each other often" He teased to Draco without knowing that we already knew each other. Draco continued picking at his plate seeming uninterested in the conversation.

"Miss Lockheart-"
"You could call me Flora sir."
"Miss Lockheart, word there are no classes to attend tomorrow so I suppose you could stay the night and I could show you around." Lucius cheered. I have a feeling he wants me and Draco to be more than "friends".

"I suppose I could. No plans I have to attend to tomorrow." I stated just going along with it. Even if I don't want to it's better than having a bore some time in my room. For a while Lucius guided me through their home with Draco along side.

"Son you are dreadfully quite. Show some manors to miss Flora." He boasted to Draco while pushing him next to me with his staff. "Yes father." Draco replied as his father left.

"Why did you agree to this Lockheart?" He sneered.

"Don't get the wrong idea Malfoy I only agreed to keep my reputation."

"Oh yeah your reputation and your duties like always. Such a selfish prat."

"Just please show me where I'm sleeping for the night. I need rest."

He rolled his eyes and dragged me to a room next to his. Sat in the room was a black canopy, velvet green sheets, silk drapes and everything placed identically to his room. "Here. Towels are in the cupboard across your room. Our bathrooms are connected so I take my shower first." He explained. "Thank you. Goodnight Malfoy." I replied but he still sat in front of me. His grey eyes staring through mine.

"Goodnight Lockheart."

Few hours have passed and I finally took my shower after he hogged the bathroom the whole time. I'm lucky I even have hot water left.

I try to settle myself in bed and slowly start to drift off until my bed sheet lifted up. "Flora? Are you up?" He asked. What could he possibly need?

"What." I hissed angrily.

"I'm having nightmares, can I sleep with you?" He pleaded. I just rolled my eyes and he hoped in bed with me. I turn over trying to fall back asleep. Sounds of him panicking start up so I turn to face him half asleep fighting his nightmares. "Draco. Draco! It's all in your bloody head." I comforted. "I can't sleep Flora." He said as I pull back fallen pieces of his hair behind his ear. "I'm here. I'm sorry for my silly actions. I'm just under pressure but I'm right here Draco." He pulls the hair off my face and the curls off my shoulders while his face rests. I rested my head on his chest in hopes that would help. He rested his arm around my waist.

"I accept your apology but I owe you one myself." I look up as the words slip through his lips.

"Thank you. I'm thankful your father suggested I stay the night. I've had restless nights especially after we fought. Images of my kingdom at its downfall. I've felt I've been too distracted from my success if I invited people in." I explained as I traced hearts on his chest. "I can't imagine. Im unsure of how you always are able to hold your crown and pride high." He replied holding me tighter. This moment was so comforting and reassuring.

"Im not brave Draco that's for sure. At moments I want to run but I must succeed." I state while he drags his fingers through my hair once more. "I know." He replied back. Our eyes meet again and he presses his lips on my forehead.

A/n- I'm unsure if anyone is going to read further more but I enjoy writing these and might take a break from continuing on for a little bit. :) hope you guys enjoyed it so far.
