Phoenix (Adopted Possibly)

Revival

Izuku stands there, prossesing what Bakugou just said. "Go take a swan dive off the roof and hope you get a quirk in your next life." Are the exact words of Katsuki Bakugou.

"If you say so." Izuku says with absolutely no emotion. Bakugou had already left, so he didn't hear. Walking up to the roof and looking down, Izuku sees Bakugou. Not bothered with the traditional shoes off suicide, Izuku just jumps.

When Izuku hit the ground, he didn't feel the pain he was expecting but instead a sense of relief washed over him, like he was bottling up something and it was finally released. His entire life flashed before his eyes before he suddenly felt like he was waking up.

Sitting up, Izuku finds himself in a pile of ash, Bakugou looking at him wide eyed, and a new power flowing through his veins. "What the fuck was that, Deku!" Bakugou yelled.

Izuku looked at him before laughing. "Just when I thought I could be free!" Izuku yelled into the sky, calming down from his laughing fit.

Standing up, Izuku directs his body to the gate and leaves Bakugou unanswered.

[Underpass]

Izuku makes it to the usual Underpass to go home. Suddenly sludge is surrounding him but he just continues to try and walk like it's not there. "What are you doing kid, don't you want to know that I'm killing you?" The sludge villain asked.

Izuku shook his head disappointedly. "I guess I'll take your body than." The sludge villain says. A little while later Izuku finally dies... before his body turns to ash. "WHAT THE FUCK!" The sludge villain cried. The perfect meat suit and it just turns to ash when it finally dies.

The ash pile begins to move before Izuku sits up in it... again. "Well shit, guess I can't die now." Izuku says disappointedly. "What the fuck is wrong with you kid?" The sludge villain asks. "Bullied for being quirkless and suicide bait finally taken." Izuku explains. The sludge villain nods, having seen quite a few kids bullying others around the city for being weaker.

"Well kid, I have to run, if you want there's a villain group hiring for a big job, easy money, don't know the location though, you have to find that out on your own." The sludge villain says before slithering off.

A little later the nearby manhole cover gets blown up and sticks into the Underpass roof. "I AM... LATE?" All-Might asks. "YOUNG MAN, HAVE YOU SEEN A SLUDGE VILLAIN PASS BY HERE?" A-M asks (All-Might is to long to type so A-M from now on).

Izuku shrugged, standing up. "Dont know, he just left though." Izuku said. A-M nodded before running off, grocery bags in hand. Izuku decides to leave for home.

(No, Bakugou didn't get trapped. Yes, A-M cought the sludge villain... eventually)

[The Midoriya apartment]

On the way home, Izuku studied the power he can feel. Determining that it is at the very least a fire type quirk. Reaching his apartment complex, Izuku ascends the stairs.

"Mom, I'm home!" Izuku called. "Welcome home, Izuku, how was school?" Inko asked. Not one to lie to his mother, Izuku told him about his day and when he got to the suicide baiting part, Izuku said he took the bait and discovered he had a quirk.

Inko was surprised that Izuku came home with the news of obtaining a quirk. "Seeing how your not dead, I'm assuming it's an immortality type quirk?" Inko asked. Izuku shook his head. "Fire type, I'm assuming it's something like a Phoenix." Izuku responded.

"Oh, a villain also tried to kill me, after he failed he said something about a villain hiring a bunch of people, would you be mad if I checked it out?" Izuku asked. "I dont know Izuku, what about wanting to be a hero?" Inko asked. Izuku shook his head.
