Sorry for not updating. I had been busy reading fanfics in AO3. Plus, i had been searching for fanfics with "Hualian adopting Wei Ying" or MDZS x TGCF Crossover fanfics.

"Ever heard of what?"

"Nevermind. Better let Wuxian tell you himself." Xue Yang said and stood up.

Jiang Cheng sighed. Jin Zixuan also stood up, following Xue Yang to one of the boats.

"Xue-gongzi, may i ask you a question?"

"Depends on what it is."

"What happened to Sect Leader Wei? I mean, you said he was adopted by Sect Leader Jiang."

Xue Yang was silent for a while and turned to him.

"If i tell you, swear to keep to yourself. Listen Jin-Gongzi, you and Madam Jin are the only Jins we trust. Better keep this to yourself."

"I swear."

Wei Wuxian continued to row, searching for his precious rice wine. Then, he stumbled when his boat hit something. He looked and saw Jin Zixun, smirking at him.

"Oh, i am so sorry Sect Leader Wei. Didn't see you there." Jin Zixun mocked.

Wei Wuxian's brows twitched. He huffed. "Young master, as you can see, the river is so wide that it is impossible to bumped on to the others. Ah right, you didn't see me. So i did. I apologized also."

Jin Zixun glared at him. Just then, another boat pass,

"Young master Jin Zixun, Sect Leader Wei, please please calm down."

"Young master Nie, nice to see you here."

Nie Huaisang bowed. Jin Zixun continued to mocked Wei Wuxian and make Nie Huaisang shut up. Then, there boats shoke.

"Ah!"

"What is happening?!"

"Ah! It's the water ghouls!" The people shouted.

Wei Wuxian unsheathed his sword and slice the water ghoul near him. He continued until he heard Nie Huaisang's shouts.

"Sect Leader Wei!"

He turned around and saw a big water ghoul crawling towards him. Before he can helped him, a glare of a sword did it first.

"Zewu-jun!"

"Huaisang, A-Ying. Are you okay?!"

"We are now fine, Xichen-ge."

Lan Xichen nodded. He let Huaisang down to the land.

"Huaisang, it is best if you stay here."

"Okay, Xichen-ge."

"Xichen-ge, we have to go. Most of the water ghouls are escaping." Wei Wuxian said.

Lan Xiche nodded.

Xue Yang looked around the water. Jiang Cheng just behind him. All of them were focus on the water.

"Water Ghouls are smart. Make sure they don't know that we see or hear them."

"Follow A-Ying."

Lan Wangji glanced at the Sect Leader.

Wei Ying felt the glanced and looked at him. Lan Wangji was startled when the man waved at him.

Jiang Cheng just rolled his eyes at the two.

Wei Ying giggled at the red ears and looked down. He slightly frowned. He looked back at Lan Wangji and called him.

"Lan Zhan! Look at me!"

Lan Wangju frowned and he did. His eyes wide and jumped at his brother's boat.

"You-"

Wei Ying had slapped the bamboo to the water and flipped the boat, upside down. The disciples were shock. There were three water ghouls on the bottom. They immediately catched them with the nets and Lan Wangji cleansing them.

"A-Ying, how did you know there were water ghouls under Wangji's boat?"

"Simple, the front was wrong."

"Pardon?"

"The front was not on the right angle. The boat sink more than the boats who have two to three people. So, there must be something under there."

"A-Ying is truely smart and experienced."

Wei Ying smiles and said, "Lan Zhan, i am sorry for splashing water on you. They would get away if i said it out loud."

"Mn."

Xue Yang just continued to watch around, until.. He unsheathed his sword and turn around.

"Wuxian, there is something other than the water ghouls on the water."

"Oh, is it?"

"Mhm."

"O- Lan Zhan! Beside you!"

Lan Wangji unsheathed his sword.

Just then, the water started to move abnormally, forming a big wave.

Wei Wuxian smiles widely, "It's here! It's here!"

Lan Wangji summoned his sword and attack it on the water. After a few moments, the sword returnes with a piece of clothing.

"Hm.. This is the first time someone took a clothing from the water ghouls."

Wei Wuxian summoned his sword and swing it forwarded to the wave. Lan Wangji did the same thing again. Their swords came back and another sword was swung forward. But, the sword didn't came back.

"Su She! Why did you do that?! We didn't even know what is really forming there?!"

"I-I saw Lan er gongzi-" Su She turned red.

Bichen has more strength and spiritual than his sword.

Wei Wuxian frowned. He remembered what this is but the information was all in the back of his head.

The wave became bigger causing a strength of wind.

He looked at Xue Yang with wide eyes, Xue Yang also did.

"EVERYONE! RETREAT!"

"A-Ying?"

"IT'S A WATERBORNE ABYSS!"
