"Murder?"

"The evidences confirmed everything. We have questioned the witnesses. Whips on the bodies' backs, necks. Slashed." Xiao Xingchen's subordinate, Wei Ming, reported.

Xiao Xingchen's hand formed into a fist. Wei Ming is waiting for his Master's order.

"Sent this to the Clans, only to the main family. Do it, secretly."

Xiao Xingchen never felt so angry before.

Meanwhile with Wei Ying, he grabbed his sword before exiting his office.

"Wuxian!"

"Tell them i am going night hunting! AND DON'T FOLLOW ME!"

Xue Yang wanted to but he pushed that urge down. He knew Wei Ying wanted to be alone.

The woman scoffed as she looked away.

Meanwhile with the Madam behind the close door, who heard everything. She was so shocked. She rushed away and went to her room before the two will caught her.

Lan Wangji pulled him on to a hug. Wei Ying calmed down and snuggled at the man's chest. "We will get them. And punish them."

"I want to yell at them, Lan Zhan. I want them to ask what did my parents did to deserve death.. A-Niang and A-Die are kind."

"That person is a sinner. They kill even if with or without a reason."

Wei Ying gripped on his robes and sobbed. "I-... I miss them, Lan Zhan.."

"Mn.. I know, A-Ying. I am sure they miss you too.."

The disciples just watched them, not minding the affections. Their Sect Leader Wei needs someone to be on his side for now.

Wen Qing just rolled her eyes at her Uncle. She just wanted to check on Wei Ying. But, there are many problems she needs to take care in Qishan.

Lan Wangji stayed with Wei Ying in Yiling. He just wanna be with his soulmate until the murderers are captured.

He combed Wei Ying's smoothly as he listened to the sighs. Wei Ying sat on the ground, between Lan Wangji's legs, as Lan Wangji sat on the bed.

"Lan Zhan..."

"Mn?"

"I am tired.."

Lan Wangji putted the combed down and help Wei Ying to lay in bed. He then laid beside him and wrapped his arms around Wei Ying's waste. He kissed the back of his soulmate's head, as Wei Ying's back faced his chest.

"Rest."

Wei Ying hummed and his eyes felt heavy. He fell asleep a few minutes later. Lan Wangji followed.

With Xiao Xingchen and Song Lan:

"Don't worry, A-Chen. We will get those people and get your Shijie and Shixiong to rest in peace." Song Lan said, hugging him tighter.

"I hope so too, A-Lan.."

"Rest. You had a long day today.."

"Mn.."

"Are you sure, Mom?"

"My boy, i said everything i heard! That woman! She-!"

"Mom, calm down first."

The Madam exhaled. "A-Xuan, we must help your friend!"

'A-xuan' thought for a while. He then hold his mother's hand. "We will help them, Mother. But, we cannot let anyone know."

"I know. That Child, Wuxian, grew up without parents. He does not deserve any of it! And that woman! Has the audacity to put the blames on a child!"

"We will expose them soon, Mom. We must sent a letter in Yiling as soon as possible without getting caught."
