Finding you

A few hours later I find myself sitting on Teddy's bed while trying to talk to her.

"So uhm, I talked to Addison before." I say.

"Oh really? How is she?" She asks more uninterested.

"She uhm she told me what happened between you two. And that uhm that she she wants to talk to you about it. But you wouldn't let her, so I'm here being Addison's kind of mouth." Teddy gives me a confused look and you can see in her eyes that she actually doesn't want to hear it. But I'll tell her anyways since Teddy and Addison really deserved each other.

"The woman you met, which said that she was engaged to Addison. She isn't. She is Addison's crazy ex. Addison blocked all her social medias, her number, everything. But don't ask me how but she got to find out where Addison lives. Teddy, Addison is not engaged. She does not cheat in you because she loves you. And I know that deep down, even if you don't want to admit it, you love and miss her so fucking much that it hurts you."

Teddy doesn't move, she's saying nothing. Fuck I think I failed.

I stand up to go downstairs but turn around once more to Teddy.
"Say what you want. But you two are meant to be." And with that I went downstairs where Addison sits.

"She didn't said anything. She didn't moved. She just sits on her bed. She needs her time. Wait for her." I say as I walk into the kitchen. Addison gives me a  nod and I sat next to her. We sit in silence fo about 30 minutes until we hear small footsteps. Addison and I look booth up when Teddy walks trough the door. I realize I shouldn't be here when they have this conversation, so I stand up and go away. I anyways have to get prepared for my date.

As I step into the shower I remember I should tell Callie and end our friends with benefits thing. But first a shower!

"So uhm...I uhm..." I try to start my sentence. I'm completely done showering, got dressed and pit my still wet hair into a messy bun.

"Just spit it out, Zona!" Callie laughs. I take a deep breath while I constantly fidget with my fingers.

"I met someone. And we are having a date. Like today." I blurt out as I feel like I had enough confidence.

"Okay. I'm happy for you." She says while it cool. But deep down we both know that she isn't ok with it. It kinda was her annoyed but at the same time sad tone.

"I should get ready now." I say quiet. I leave her awkwardly back and start getting ready since Lauren would be her soon.

"Oh wow! You look beautiful!", Lauren greets me as she stands right in front of me. I smile, thank her and tell her that she look beautiful herself.

We drive for about 15 minutes until we are in a fancy restaurant. She ordered both of us a red wine. Later as the waiter asked us what we'd like to eat, Lauren ordered salmon while I had pasta with shrimps.

"The evening was perfect thanks for that." I smliewhile I blush a little. We stand in front of the front porch of Teddy, Addison, Callie and mines houses. She held both of my hands while listening what I had to say.

"Well, I have to thank you. Without you, this evening would 've been not half as fun." She giggles. We continue to stare in each others eyes and flirt for a bit.
I feel the urge to kiss her. Slowly I bite my lip a little stare at her lips and back in her eyes. She got what I wanted to tell her with that, looks at my lips as well and in the next moment we close our gap. Her soft lips meet mine, I close my eyes. First it's just a sweet, soft kiss, which only lasts for a few seconds. The next is a little more needy. She runs her tounge over my bottom lip and asks for entrance which I give her. Our tounges dance in each others mouths. Her hand are one on my cheek and the other on my waist.

The sound of the door behind me makes us break the kiss and Teddy steps out.
"Oh shit sorry. Uhm continue whatever you just did, I'll just go inside and uhm..." and with that she closes the door again. We look each other in the eyes before bursting out into giggling.
As we called ourselves a bit, I take a step forward and give her a hug.

"And how was the date?", Addison asks as I step into the kokjtchen where she just made dinner.

"Must've been good. When I opened the door to bring away the trash, they were having a hot make out session.", Teddy laughs and helps Addison cut the vegetables.

"We want every detail!", Addison tells me with raised eyebrows. I told them almost everything, I just let some private things out.

"Sooo, you two... do I need my headphones at night again?" I smile. I already know the answer. They look at each other before giggling. "I'll just... sleep on the couch." I smile and walk upstairs to put on some comfortable clothes. As I come downstairs again, Teddy, Addison and Callie sit on the table already.

"... i told her the exact same thing, but she refused to it. She ended up being in labor for over 26 hours!", Addison said to the others.

"I would never want to be in labor for over a day, just to squeeze a watermelon out of my vagina!" Callie said.

"Well, back in Germany I sometimes worked at the hospital. Every Mother I've met there said that it may was painful, but it was worth it." I tell Callie and the rest.

"What specialty did you worked in?" Callie asks me.

"Peds." I say firmly.

"Really?" She asks.

"Really." Teddy and I say in usion. "Did you knew that Callie works as Ortho?" Teddy asks me.

"Yeah she told me.", I say smiling. I sometimes, when I went to get some groceries, picked up Callie from the hospital. In car she used to tell me all about what bones she broke that day.

The evening went by and I ended up going to bed first...
