Chapter Three
I woke up bright and early a few mornings later due to excitement.
In my apartment, I fixed my white-blond hair into it's normal, long ponytails on either side. I walked towards the door, pulling a black blazer over my white blouse. New York's winter weather was finally letting up, so wearing the tan coat hanging in the closet didn't seem all that important.
My stomach growled out of hunger, so I walked into my small kitchen. I popped open one of the cabinets and searched for my breakfast. I grabbed a random breakfast bar, then opened the refrigerator and grabbed a bottle of orange juice.
I grabbed my house keys from a small hall bowl, and cracked open the door. The white walls and red carpet ran down to an elevator. Where I lived wasn't the most luxurious, expensive or lavish in New York, but it was nice. More like a hotel I suppose, but with apartments.
I pressed the down button on the wall and waited for the doors to open. I messed with my hair until the door opened. A man with dark grey hair, named Mr. Owens, and a woman with black and orange hair (literally), named Christina, were in the elevator as well.
"Good morning Mr. Owens, Christina," I greeted with a nod. Christina gave a small wave and Owens returned the nod.
As soon as I stepped through the doors, and our hellos were given, Christina turned to her phone, and Mr. Owens fiddled with his cane. I made my way to the back of the lift, and leaned against the mirrored wall.

"Morning Carol," I called out as I entered the Broadcasting Building. But to my surprise, Carol the Secretary was not in her normal position. Instead of being behind the front desk, she was nowhere in sight. I sighed, hanging my head low. I should've known Carol was taking the day off- she said her three year old son was coming home today.
So I walked up to Valentina, the secretary from Milan, instead. "Hello, Miss. Heart." She greeted in an agitated voice.
"Well morning to you too, Valentina." I muttered under my breath.
She obviously heard what I said and narrowed her eyes. "What can I do for you, Miss. Heart?"
"I need a car."
"And why do you request a car, Miss. Heart?" She asked and turned to her computer typing in information.
"I have an interview, Valentina."
"Don't call me Valentina."
"Well fine, 'Miss. Ross.' Then don't call me 'Miss. Heart.'"
"And with who might this interview be for..." she hesitated and continued through gritted teeth, "...Alex?"
"It's none of your concern, Ross. The car?"
She smirked, "You'll find it in Parking Building C, row 312, number 62, Miss. Heart."
I narrowed my eyes then brought my face to a smirk. "Thank you... Valentina."
I picked up the keys she laid in front of me and I turned on my heel, with a smirk on my face, I walked away from Valentina Ross.
The walk to the Parking Building was dull. I whipped out my cellphone, brought up the Internet app, and Googled 'Tony Stark.' The list of things on and about Tony was a massive amount. I scrolled through various things about the Man of Iron. Then I scrolled back to the top, typing in 'Latest Locations on Tony Stark.' A much smaller list came up, and I found a relevant article.
