† Chapter Eight †

«I'll ask you again», Harry started to get upset as usual, «What are you doing..?», he approached us with an increasingly threatening tone.

«Relax Styles!», Trey replied, «We didn't do anything wrong», he annoyingly snorted.

«Yeah», I tried to help him, «Harry, we weren't doing anything»

«You shut up and don't parrot him!», he growled furiously startling me.

«Don't treat her like that! Be kinder when you talk to her, am I being clear?!», Trey has got dangerously close to Harry, they were face to face and both of them had gritted their sharp teeth.

«Don't act stupid guys, please!», I begged them desperately. All I didn't need was to witness another fight.

«Leave», Harry said between his teeth, «Now», he continued, «Or you will regret it»

«As you please», Trey gave up, but before he left, he came back to me to leave me a little kiss on the cheek. «See you baby girl», he softly said before leaving and closing the door behind him.

Harry turned to me but I couldn't stand his killer gaze.

«You really like getting in trouble huh?!», he yelled.

«He didn't do anything to me!», I tried to defend him.

«Do you have to wait for something to happen to you to understand what I'm saying?! He's the enemy!»

«You never told me anything of relevance to beware of werewolves! Plus, it's not true, Trey is good!»

«Of course he's good... making a girl in love think is like pushing a wall hoping it'll move», he shook his head embittered.

«Harry I...», I stopped talking when his eyes turned back to green and dilated with a strange expression on his face.

«What happened to you?!», he asked referring to the now dry wound on my neck.

«Trey's Brother...», I was reluctant for my answer.

«I told you!», he started yelling at me again.

«But if he hadn't come to save me I would probably be dead!»

«It was all a plan! He certainly organized everything to make you fall at his feet! But how do you not realize it by yourself? From now on you won't see him again and you won't let him get close to you! Am I clear?!»

«Oh now are you being potective!? If you had stayed with me nothing of this kind would have probably happened! But no, you had to abandon me here instead of worrying about me! You should protect me and in these three fucking days I have seen you do it only one time! So don't you dare come to me and tell me what I can or can't do because my life is hanging by a thread and you don't even deign to inform me about what's going on! It wasn't my choice to be a Half-blood, none of this was! I never wanted to be dragged here, I never wanted someone to kill my family and I never wanted to meet you! I don't want to be locked in your fucking cage forever!», I suddenly blew up all of my anger, surprising both Harry and myself.

I've never talked to anyone like this... I've been angry many times... but never like this... this vampire could bring out the worst in me. And I wasn't done yet... I felt like I had to keep venting while I was able to get his attention, I didn't care if I would feel guilty later.

«And to think that to make you forgive me I had also prepared dinner for you! By now it is inedible... you know, for a moment I thought we had become friends! I was wrong, I know I don't have to expect anything from you. I'm going upstairs now, don't come to disturb me», I snorted as I strode up the stairs.
