I woke up dripping in sweat. I was having the same nightmare for weeks now, I couldn't get rid of it.

The images running through my mind were always there: a black silhouette standing in my room, moving frenetically towards me with his red demon's eyes while he was trying to rip out my heart with his bare hands.

I was able to talk about this only with my best friend Michela. I knew I could trust her not to make fun of me for being crazy. For instance, even my mother after her divorce with my father, Shane, thought I was losing it. She kept whining about my low frequency at the academic courses of my University, she thought I wouldn't find a job...I thought she was the one having issues she didn't want to talk about with me. Of course separating from my father wasn't easy for her, so I never dared asking if it was about that.

I was getting dressed to go to my courses, I thought maybe it would've helped distract my mind from everything else.

Once I got there, I entered the small room and I sat right next to Michela.

«You really look like a zombie Jenna...same old story? », she looked at me with concern.

«Yup. I don't know if I should go to a very good psychiatrist or just laugh about it», I sighed not at all thinking that this situation had something to laugh about.

«You should take something to sleep. I don't know, herb tea, sleeping pills...you might stop dreaming those horrible stuff», her mouth cringed in disgust while she opened her notebook right when professor Nathar came in the room.

He was a man from India, really tall, brown tinted skin and his eyes were particularly bright. He was very young but everybody knew he was also married and with a lot of children. Gossip had it he had the beauty of ten children! But the most shocking thing about that was that they appeared to have almost all the same age, maybe they were adopted, but even so... they looked oddly similar to him. The older ones were all going to school here, they were considered the crazy kind and another weird thing to add to the list was they all went around together in a group, like a gang. It was very creepy to be honest...I only knew them by hearsay, everybody knew their names though: Zora, Claire, Devon, Karter, Siriah, Valerie and Trey.

With Trey being the biggest crush I've ever had, he was so handsome, so fascinating...

Anyway, the people who ran into them in the corridors or in the cafeteria loved them. Exept a few of the siblings, they were funny and entertaining, I never got close to them, I hated chaos and for sure they were bringing a lot of it wherever they were.

While I was overthinking about his family, professor Nathar was explaining what I was guessing to be important, and I totally wasn't listening.

«...it will be an important test guys, so please do study hard, not like last time!», he scolded us.

Someone knocked on the door and the professor stood up to open it.

«Randel, I need to talk to you», said the man lowering his voice after every word.

«Sure», he replied looking at us with a smile, «Guys, calss dismissed for today, you can go. Remember the exams start next week, don't miss any. Have a good day»

I stood up with Michela and we walked together out of the room. I couldn't believe I came here to stay only for half an hour.
Luckily enough I still had cooking class and medical history to attend today.

A couple of hours passed and we started walking once again to our lockers.

«What a weird one huh? The new guy in the other class. Did you get the chance to see him?», she asked shaking my arm while I was putting away my books in the locker.
