† Chapter Six †

«Why me?», I asked feeling my voice trembling.

«He wants you!», Alice said, «You'll only bring death and distruction here»

«We came here for you to help us», Harry growled, «Not to accuse this girl! We need a remedy, fast!»

«The hell is going on here?», a deep voice echoed from the small staircase to our right, «What is this? What's happening?»

A tall guy jumped from the staircase to a spot in front of us with an incredible agility. He had black long hair messily kept in a bun. Icey eyes...a magnificent vision.

«Vyron», Alice said, «You're back»

«Wo-oh», he exclaimed in surprise, «Look who's here», he looked at Harry with a smirk giving him a pat on his shoulder while he nodded silently, «Styles. What a pleasure», now his wonderful eyes passed on me, «and who's this beautiful creature here?»

«I'm Jenna», I blushed embarassed, «Nice to meet you»

«New conquest Haz?»

«Shut your hole!», Harry shushed him quickly.

«How could you be so calm?!», Alice interruped us with a shaking voice, «This beautiful creature will only bring us chaos and distruction!»

«I won't let that happen», he lowers his tone, «I'll protect her. All we got to do is to stop the Apocalypse!», he added clenching his teeth.

«There's only one way to prevent the war from prosecuting», Vyron promplty interrupted them, «And that is to fight with greater weapons than theirs»

«Oh please», Harry snorted with irony, «Come back to reality! We don't own weapons of that power! The Crow is a Soul Eater, for fuck's sake!»

«Well», he replied once again offended by Harry's manners, «If we don't make up a plan quickly we might as well all die soon», then Alice spoke as she surrendered, probably noticing that there wasn't a way to make them agree on anything.

«I think the best idea right now is to gather everyone, so we will discuss about all of this together. We will call our relatives and Harry, you will call yours. We seriously need to get down to business»

«Good idea», Harry said, «Set a date as soon as possible for a meeting in Brokeroad glade, we will decide then what to do»

Their words scared me more and more. So much so, I forgot one of the most important things and I grabbed Harry's wrist.

«Harry...we left Jonathan home alone, we should go back»

«Alright, we'll go», he whispered with his raspy voice, «We gotta go, let me know when you have news, good night!», he shouted to the two brothers before pacing towards their door.

Once outside, he violently picked me up, using the Teleportation to bring us home.

I felt the wind slapping so harshly against my skin and I saw pitch black all around me, I had to hold my breath for what seemed the longest time.

«Are you nuts?!», I yelled, «You could've warned before doing that!»

«I wanted to get home quickly», he raised his brows completely careless while opening the door of his mansion.

«Jon we are home», I spoke loudly so that wherever he was could hear me but too many seconds passed and I didn't hear from him back, so I tried one more time, «Jon? Where are you?»

Fuck.

«Jon?! Jon??! Please answer me!!», I screamed running in all the rooms to look for him but he was in any of them.
