When Team Todoroki stood before Team Midoriya, both team captains exchanged challenging glares at each other.
"Looks like this won't end without a fight... they're really gunning for you, Midoriya." Tokoyami told his team captain.
"We're halfway through, so we gotta keep moving! But there are..." Midoriya started to reply as Todoroki started to give orders to his team.
"Forward, Iida." Todoroki instructed.
"Okay!" Iida answered with a determined tone to his voice.
"Yaoyurozu, prepare our defense insulator too." Todoroki continued.
"Right." Yaoyurozu replied.
"Kaminari you..." Todoroki was about to speak before Kaminari cut him off by saying, "Yeah, I got it! Just stay alert!"
"... multiple teams incoming!" Midoriya finally finished.
"Indiscriminate shock: 1.3 million volts!" Kaminari announced as lightning appeared everywhere. Dark Shadow dove in front of Team Midoriya when suddenly a wave of energy appeared to defend them.
Flashback:
"You really are planning a counter measure for every student... aren't you?" Spirit Tony asked as he appeared to his student. Takumi nodded.
"Although I'm having some of these counter measures be multipurpose. With how many students are participating in the UA Sports Festival, it would be stupid to come up with one defense for every single quirk I'm going up against." Takumi replied as he extended his arms and activated his repulsers. He then activated a new defensive function he was adding to them. An energy shield enveloped Takumi, who smiled.
"This energy shield is designed to withstand any elemental attack. It should deal with Todoroki's fire and ice perfectly, not to mention Bakugo's explosions and Kaminari's electricity. It will also help defend against strong physical attacks like the ones Kirishima can bring to the table in a scrap." Takumi explained. Spirit Tony smiled.
"Well then, let's put this shield through a test." Spirit Tony replied before he started to possess Takumi's emergency Iron Man armor. Takumi and the Tony possessed armor went to the backyard to push the shield to it's limits.
Present day:
"An energy shield?!" Uraraka asked in surprise as she realized that none of the lightning had even touched her or the rest of the team.
"You've really prepared for this, haven't you, Sakai?" Midoriya asked. Takumi smirked.
Team Mineta, which consisted of Mineta, Tsu, and Shoji and Team Hagakure were in agony as Kaminari's electricity surged through them.
"Kami...nari!!" Jirou struggled to growl. The lightning also had gotten onto some students from Class 1-B as well.
"Less than six minutes left. No turning back now." Todoroki told his team.
"Sorry. Just hang in there." Todoroki spoke to his classmates as he froze the legs of multiple teams behind them.
"What's this now?! Todoroki's taken out a herd of cavalry teams with one fierce attack!" Present Mic yelled in awe.
"He waited until they were stopped by Kaminari's shock before freezing them in place. I wouldn't expect any less... he must have recalled how many competitors managed to dodge his ice during the obstacle course." Aizawa explained.
"Nice play by play!!" Present Mic complimented while giving Aizawa a thumbs up.
As Team Todoroki approached Team Midoriya, they took the headbands of teams that had been victims of their shock, freeze combo and continued forward.
"Sorry, Zuko. But it's gonna take more than that to step up to us. Uraraka..." Takumi spoke.
