Sirius grinned as he saw Dumbledore. Moony had dared him (in front of the other marauders so he had to save his dignity and pride)to ask Dumbledore out to the Christmas Ball the professors were hosting.
"Well hello there, professor." He smirked. Dumbledore smiled.
"Why hello, Mr Black." He said.
"I was wondering," Sirius said. "Whether you wanted to go to the Ball with me?"
Before Dumbledore could answer, James came behind them.
"Why padfoot?" He wailed. "Why? You know how I feel about Dumbledore. So why are you betraying me?!"
"You're too obsessed with Evans!" Sirius said. "So I asked Dumbledore."
"You betrayed me!" James continued to wail. "You deserve Azkaban for this!"
The two boys continued bickering as Dumbledore watched with amused eyes. Minerva face-palmed.
