The Story of us (Clato)

Chapter 4

                         We got to the training center and they called my name. I walked over to the knife throwing station. Everyone was watching me . I took three knives and threw them. The all landed right in the middle of the targets. Then I took two knives,aimed,and threw both of them at once. One of them hit the middle of the stomach and the other hit the middle of the head. The gamemakers all took notes on my performance. I walked out of the room with pride. I walked back to my room and went to bed.

                    The next day,we sat down on the couch and turned on the TV. Glimmer and Marvel both got 9s. We waited patiently and finally,Ceaser said "Clove Kentwell with a score of...10" "Wow congrats Clove!!!" everyone yelled. Then Ceaser said:"and now...Cato Hadley with a 10. We all congragulated each other and when we saw Katniss's score, we all were suprised on what she got.

                         The interviews are tomorrow and i'm not sure on what I'm supposed to do. I walked over to Cato and asked him "Cato,do you like me?" "Well-uh-umm-I-I-I" "Cato,we have to try on your outfit!!!"shouted Brutus. "Okay,bye Clove"Cato said and he was gone. Dang it,I really wanted to know what he was going to say. I got my outfit and it looked beautiful.It was an orange dress but it still didn't look as good as district 12's outfits. The next day, I got some tips from Enobaria about the interviews. They didn't really help but I figured I was just gonna wing it. I got into my outfit and I ran into Cato. "Hey Cato, you look very nice."I said "Well you look beautiful Clove"he said. We got in line and we didn't talk to each other at all.

Sorry for this suckish chapter. My laptop is broken and my school's carnival is here so I have little time.~Cato --II:::::::::::::::::::::>

                         Ceaser had his hair dyed blue this year with a sparkling blue tuxedo. We watched the tributes from district one's interviews and it was finally my turn. I walked on stage with my stupid-looking smile. "Welcome Clove"said Ceaser. "How are you?" "I'm doing great." "So Clove I heard you're very skilled with knives. Is that true?" "Yes Ceaser it is true. I started throwing at around 6 yrs. old." "Oh so you've been around knives for a long time."he said. "Yup" I replied. "now Clove, Is there anyone as skilled as you in district 2?" "No Ceaser I'm the only skilled knife thrower in my area"I answered. "Are you ready for the games?" "Yes, I just can't wait for the games" I said. "Well everyone...Clove Kentwell!!!"he yelled to the audience. 

                           Now it was time for Cato's interview. I watched the screen and I saw him walk on stage.Ceaser asked him a couple of questions. Then Ceaser asked: "Cato,is there anything going on between you and Clove?" "Well-uh-um"he sounded nervous. I wanted him to answer so badly. "Well we are best friends"answered Cato. "No I ment like romantically." "Well I kind of have a little crush on her."  I was suprised on his answer. "Do you want to bring her on stage?" "sure,I guess."said Cato. They pushed me on stage. Then Cato walked up to me and asked:"Clove will you be my girlfriend?" I didn't know what to say so I just stood there looking suprised.
