I woke up to the sound of Claudius Templesmith's voice. "Attention tributes,commencing its sunrise." Cato woke up. "There will be a fest at the cornucopia tomorrow.We are doing this because this year we want to be generous hosts." I remember in the 71st Hunger Games they had a feast. They dont want to be generous. Its just a trap to lure us in to killing each other. Usually more than one person dies. "This will be the only announcment."Claudius said. "I'll go"I told Cato. NO he yelled. "Your staying here with me." "Cato I'll be just fine." "okay fine,just dont die please. I'll be in the woods gathering food okay?" "Okay" I kissed him one more time before I left. He smiled and I left the camp.
I walked through the woods and saw many berries and fruits and animals. Cato will find food very easily I thought. I kept walking and I finally reached the big,shiny,silver cornucopia. Surprise attack.I thought. I can sneek behind the cornucopia and when someone comes around I can attack them. I ran to the back of the cornucopia. Hoping nobody saw me. I saw Foxface,the girl from 5, run into the cornucopia. I wonder what she was doing.
I peeked behind the cornucopia and saw Katniss hiding in the bushes. She ran out and then she stopped. I wondered why. I ran to the other side of the cornucopia,and saw Foxface running into the forest. Maybe thats why Katniss stopped. I looked back to the right side and saw Katniss. I threw a knife right at her head. She got a cut but it wasnt really bad. I ran toward her and she shot an arrow at me. I dodged the arrow. Then she shot another one at me. I dodged that one too. I tackeled her but then she pushed me off. We rolled around for a bit and I had a chance to take out my knife. So I did. I tried stabbing her but she turned her head. She pushed me off again and again but I just kept getting back on. I got on her again,after like 5 tries,and put my feet on her wrists. I held her down. "Wheres loverboy?" "Oh I see you were gonna help him right?" "Oh thats sweet. Well its too bad you couldn't help your little friend. That little girl. What was her name again? RUE?" "Yeah...well we killed her,and now we're gonna kill YOU. I took out my knife and threatend to cut her. Then all of a sudden someone picked me up.
"'YOU KILL HER!!!???" It was Thresh. "no"I said. "YOU SAID HER NAME. YOU SAID HER NAME!!!!!!!" "CATO!!! CATO!!!!!!"I yelled for him. I knew he would save me. He pulled me up by my shirt and he banged me against the wall of the cornucopia. It didn't do anything to me. It just made me dizzy. Then Thresn dropped me to the ground and Thresh collapsed too. What? I thought. Cato came to save me! He saved me!!! I heard a cannon and looked at Thresh's back. There was an arrow in his back. What the? I looked over at Katniss. She looked like she just shot an arrow. "You saved me??"I asked her. She just nodded. "Thank you"I said. All she did was run away. She was the one who saved me. Not Cato. I looked around.
"CLOVE" I saw Cato running toward me. He hugged me tightly. "Your okay. Your okay."he whispered. "I heard the cannon and thought it was you."he said. "I'm fine." "Katniss just saved my life."I said. "Fire girl?"he asked. I nodded. He put on an angry face. "I hate her."he mumbled. "Oh,so you hate her?? She was the one that saved me. And if she wasn't there to save me then I wouldn't be here,Cato!!!!!!!!!" I yelled at him. He put on a sad face. "Your right" he said. I smiled. "Now give me a kiss you dumbo." I said.We kissed and when we were done we got our bag and left.
We got back to our camp and there was a big variety of food and fruits. "You got all this??" I asked. "No,I got that sponser. It was full of food." I looked at the parachute. That was our first sponser ever. I started eating with Cato. MMMMMMMMMM!. I said. "This is soooo good." said Cato. "I know right!!" "So how many of us are left?" I said. "Well theres me,you,loverboy,firegirl,and Foxface."he answered. "Okay."I said. It was getting dark so me and Cato decided to go to sleep.
