The Story of us (Clato)

Chapter 6

                      I ran straight toward the knives and didn't pay any attention to anything around me. As soon as I got there,I took the knives out and placed them on my vest. I looked left then right to make sure nobody is coming near me. I saw lots of blood splattering and lots of people falling to the ground. I saw lovergirl and ran toward her. But the the boy from 9 got in my way and he raised his ax right over Katniss. I took out a couple of my knives. I have to be the one who kills Katniss.Not him.I threw one of the knives and it hit his back.He fell to the ground and then I saw Katniss right there lying on the ground. This is it. I thought.Time to kill Katniss.I took a big knife with a big,black handle.I threw it at her but she took an orange backpack and blocked the knife. I ran towards her,wanting to throw another one.But I knew it was no use. So I headed back to the bloodbath.

                    Right when I got back,nobody was there. Only Cato,Marvel,Me,and Glimmer were the only ones left. Cato walked into the cornucopia to get a long sharp sword. But then he saw the little boy from 4 try to escape. He took his sickle and sliced his head off. It wasn't a pretty sight. After that, Peeta came up to us and said. "Can I please be a part of your group?" We all started laughing. Cato let him.We all knew why Cato let him join our group:Peeta was our best chance of finding Katniss. We heard some cannons and counted 12 of them. We all decided to go hunting.

                       It was getting dark and we've been walking since forever. Thats when we finally saw a faint light in the distance.We got closer and found out it was a fire. We walked up slowly toward the light.Cato gave Glimmer his sword and she killed the girl from 8 and the cannon sounded.We started walking again and we made fun of her death. "Oh,please don't kill me"Shouted Glimmer,making fun of her voice. I was leading the group and saw Glimmer and Cato walk to the back. I wonder what they were talking about. Cato walked up to me and gave me a short kiss. "Are you okay Clove?"he asked. "Yeah I'm fine."I said. "are you jealous that I let Glimmer kill her instead of you?" I didn't answer back. "Fine Clove I'll let you kill the next person." "Whatever"I answered.

                     We set up camp and sat near the fire. I was very tired and I needed to sleep right away. I went to sleep and felt someone put there arms around me and they started to cuddle with me. I knew it was Cato. I took one of his arms and held it tight.I love Cato.He the sweetest thing ever.
