The Story of us (Clato)

Chapter 8

   (Cato's POV)

                       I was still thinking of a plan. I looked at Clove and stared at her. Her beautiful eyes. Wonderful dark black hair. I was happy to have her. I got closer to her and she looked up at me and smiled. Her smile was perfect! I just had to kiss her.So I leaned in and kissed her.

(Marvel's POV)

                             I can't beleive they were kissing again. I'm so tired of it. I'm like,about to throw up. But I did kind of like Glimmer. She was flawless.Well,she was flawless until the wasps attacked her and made he look weird.No offense. Wow Cato and Clove were still kissing. I thought Cato was supposed to be MAKING UP a plan. Not MAKING OUT with Clove. I just sat down on a crate as far away as possible from Cato and Clove. Ian walked up to me and told me that he can do ANYTHING with technology. I thought about it. The mines were the only thing I could think of that involved technology. So I walked up to Cato and Clove. EWWWWW!! It was so detailed now that I was up close. Their lips were all over each others'.Gross!!

  (Cato's POV)

                                I heard someone walk up to me and Clove so I stopped kissing. "What do you want,Marvel?" "Ian said that he can do anything with technology.And the mines are technology!!" "Good idea,Marvel!!" A cannon sounded. Clove looked at me in a scared way. I was clueless on who it was. "Let's get to work guys!"I yelled. "Clove Peeta and Marvel. You guys dig a hole over there on the other side of the cornucopia. Me and Ian will dig out the mines." I got to work and saw Clove talking with Marvel. I wanted to know what they were talking about. But I had to keep working. I walked up to a pedestal and started digging. I was very hard and it was hot today. I started sweating alot.

(Clove's POV)

                                    I got to work but I caught myself staring at Cato. He was working hard. I stared at him for like 2 minutes. He looked cuter when he was wet. I don't know why. I couldn't keep my eyes off of him. I can't beleive I was his girlfriend. He is so hot. "Clove! Help me over here.!!!!"Marvel yelled. I ran over to help him and Peeta. "Sorry" I said. I started helping them dig the hole.

(5 hours Later)

                                     The Capitol seal appeared and we found out that the boy from 10 was the one who died. "Okay guys it's getting late. Let's go to sleep now!!!"Cato screamed. "Who's turn to guard?"I asked. "It's Ian's turn." he answered. I layed down and Cato wrapped his arms around me. I loved cuddling with him. "I love you." He wispered. "I love you more."I said. He smiled. I grabbed his right arm and held it tightly. I looked up and saw Ian guarding. I looked at Cato. He was sleeping. I think I should go to sleep I told myself. And sooner or later. I finally fell asleep.

                                      The next day,I woke up. Cato,Marvel,Peeta,and Ian were already awake. I got up and walked up to Cato and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "Good morning!!"he said. "Good morning sweety!"I said. We ate a big breakfast from the supplies in the cornucopia. And then we got back to work. Cato brang us the first mine and we buried it in the hole that we made. Soon the hole was filled with mines and we buried it carefully so none of them would blow up. We were succesful.

                                       We put all of the supplies in a big pyramid and set up camp far away from the pile. We didn't want to get blown to bits. After about 4 hours,we saw some smoke from the woods in the northern side of the arena. We ran toward the smoke and left Ian to guard.

(Ian's POV)

                                       They left me alone with only a spear. I sat down on one of the crates at our camp. I heard something moving behind me and turned around quickly. I tried to go look for it. I think it ran into the woods. It had to be a tribute because their footprints looked like shoes. I heard an explosion. It was very loud and sounded close. I ran back and saw that the supplies were blown up.
