She said my name. I couldn't believe she said my name. I walked up nervously and didn't say anything. "Now its time for the boys"she said. She put her hand in and pulled out a paper. Then she read the name aloud: "Mason Rogers". "I VOLUNTEER" I was trying to see whose voice it was and I saw who was walking up to the stage: Cato. "Shake hands you two"Suzy said. We shook hands and walked into the justice building to say our goodbyes.
I walked into a small room and sat down in a comfortable chair. I waited for at least two minutes and finally someone came in. It was my mom ,dad ,and my sister Catherine. She's 4 years old. I hugged and said goodbye. I was gonna miss them. "Don't worry mom and dad, I'm gonna try to win." "We love you,Clove"my family said. "I love you too guys" Then, my family was dragged out by some peacekeepers. I knew I would see them again. A couple of my friends came to visit me and then I was forced to the train.
We sat down in very comfortable seats right across from each other. "You two stay here, I'm going to get Brutus and Enobaria."said Suzy. "Why did you volunteer?"I asked Cato. "I volunteered so I can protect you,Clove"he answered. "But Cato, only one comes out so now we have to kill each other" I told him. "Well I'm sorry Clove but I guess Ill have to protect you until the end and then Ill die for you, okay." "I can't believe that's how much you really care about me,Cato"I said. "Well Clove, I really really care about you"he said. I was surprised on what he said. Then Enobaria and Brutus came in.
"Hello I'm Brutus and this is Enobaria." Brutus said in a deep ,low voice. "Hi I'm Clove Kentwell ."I said "I'm Cato Hadley" "well I think you two need to relax for now so,enjoy the ride"said Enobaria. Me and Cato relaxed and talked and then we went to bed.
