The next day:

I've been locked in my room from a day now. I made sure to avoid Jamie at all costs , but avoiding him meant avoiding my sister and Ellie too so that's what I did.
I'm not scared to face him, I just neeeded time to think.
What happened at the Halloween party means nothing to me now ,but I'm not going to lie and say it didn't because in the beggining, it did.
But now we are back the way we used to be. Enemies. And it's better for both of us this way.
Trying to be friends didn't work out for us.
What can I say, no regrets I guess. .

It was 7:30 a.m. and I was coming back from my daily training .
When I arrived , Lottie, Ellie and Jamie were standing at my door . . .waiting?
"Good morning!"
"Y/N!"Lottie jumped right in my arms
"We were so worried, we haven't seen you in two days .What happened yesterday?" asked Ellie concered
"I'm sorry you worried for me, but you shouldn't have , I was just . . .not feeling well."
"I'm glad you are ok now" said Ellie hugging me too
"Where were you?"asked Jamie
"Somewhere."
"That's not a place."
"And that's none of your business. " I responded sharply, unlocking my dorm room
"See you at classes!Bye girls!"
I said, completely ignoring Jamie
"Bye Y/n!"
"Bye"
Jamie just rolled his eyes and walked away.

A few hours later:
The last class for today was almost finished. I kept glancing at the clock , hoping the time will go faster.
"Now,students,I have a project for you. Given the fact that we have a few new students this year I thought it would be nice for you to get to know eachother better. You have to write an essey , describing the person you are assigned with. You'll have to present your essays next week. Now , the  pairs are-"
I didn't know anyone in this class  except for Jamie but ,anyone is anyways better than him.
"-Y/N Pumpkin and Jamie Volk"
"No" we said at the same time
What a lucky person I am huh?
Jeeez there's no way I'm working with him.
"You are dissmissed now."our teacher said and left the classroom
I gathered my things and looked in Jamies direction, but he was already looking at me.
I rolled my eyes and he did the same.
"Do you think we can change partners?"
"Sadly,no."
"Just to make it clear I'd rather do this whole project by myself than with you."
"Don't worry, I feel the same way."

"Let's do it today"
I groan
"Today?No offence but I've had enough of you for a day , Jamie."
"Look, I'm not happy either about this arrangement or whatever it is but there's nothing we can do about it , so stop acting like a child and help me do the damn thing."
"And here we go again with the whole 'acting like a child' sort of thing" I said , rolling my eyes
"4:00 p.m. my room."
"Ok.It's Percy going to be there?"
"No, why?"
"Just asking ."
". . ."
"Then I guess I'll sadly see you later ,Volk"
"Are we using our second names now ,Pumpkin?"
"Looks like we are,Volk."
"Ok."
"Ok."
". . ."
"I am heading to lunch.Are you coming?"
"It looks like you  really  are enjoying my company, Pumpkin " he said smirking
"Unlike other people, I am trying to be nice."
"Hmm Ok. And sadly,  I am heading to lunch too so  at least try to act like you don't want  to punch me in the face every damn second."
"Careful,Volk,if you won't stop talking I might do it." I said smirking
He smirked back and already started walking. I followed him.
"You didn't cut your hair."he blurted out suddently
"Eh-what?Ooh are you 'observing' me now,Volk?"
"Just checking what my enemy is up to."
"Hmm I don't believe you Volk but I'll let it pass this time.And what do you mean by that?"
"When we first met you said you like your hair short and that you never let it pass your shoulders,because you don't like it this way.But know it's close to your elbows."

A/n: YALL HEAR ME OUT
SO, I know this is so random but I have in my  mind  a scene I want to write  and this one has a big impact
I don't know what will happened in the 5th book but I hope it's not going to affect what will happen in my version, I  have some stuff planned for that book but I also want to follow the books plot
I swear to God if Connie isn't going to end the book with Jottie-
Also , the most ideas that I have are for the 4th book(which will ofc follow the events in Connies 5th book) :))
