We arrived at 12:00 p.m sharp at the Tompkins manor. Five buses were already there , a lot of other students who seemed around our age were taking their luggage out .
The second I stepped out of the bus I was taken aback by the powerful smell of candy.

"Finally home !" Lola and Micky said in the same time with two big smiles on their faces

"You can say they were both made at the factory."Jamie said on his usual cold tone

I could'nt agree more
And I don't agree with Jamie very often if anyone didn't notice until now

Jamie came to help me and Ellie with our luggage but miss Bolter stopped him

"Not you, Jamie. The Sperion competitors have to carry their own luggage. Alone! I don't want anyone to help them . The members of this team need to learn that their succes depnds on them , not anyone else."

"Welcome to the Tompkins manor , dear competitors and guests!" a middle aged woman greeted us
She started talking about the factorys' tour but I wasn't listening anymore

I saw my friends entering the manor and I followed them.
Anastacia left to search in the competitors rooms while Micky , Lola and Percy were probably searching somewhere else in the manor.
"We have only four hours befo-"

"You are probably our guests" we heard someone and we all turned at the sound of the voice

And there they were, Julius and Ingrid, the people we were supposed to avoid.

Ingrid approached Jamie and looked him up and down :
"He is cute. Don't you think Julius?"she asked smirking

Oh how much I wish I could wipe that smirk off her face .She was too close to him for my own liking but Jamie didn't seem bothered by it. Not that I would be jealous or something, what Jamie does is not my problem. It's just that I thought he was in love with Lottie.
At Rosewood the girls swarm around him like butterflies. It might get on Lotties nerves, even if she doesn't show it. They sure get on my nerves, and I feel like it's my job to keep them far away , for Lottie.

"Probably" Julius replied

Ellie approached her :
" I don't know what your parents told you , but it's rude to speak about people like they are not here." she said through greeted teeth
And that's it with following the rule "don't speak with Julius and Ingrid".

Julius sighed :
"Let's go , Ingrid. The guests need rest and we have work to do."
"We'll see you at the tour " she said and exited the room with Julius

". . ."
"They are-" Jamie started
"Partizans, I know " I cut him off
"What!!?" Lottie and Ellie exclaimed in the same time
"They are somehow , partizans. I can recognize a trained assassin when I see one. And I don't know if you noticed the way Julius was looking at Y/n , I didn't like it-"
"Ooohhh someone's jealous?"Ellie asked smirking
"Not jealous, I was trying to tell you that I think they figured out me and Y/n ."Jamie replied , I could sense he was a bit frustrated about Ellies question

"Jamie , you don't have to let Lottie leave your eye sight." Ellie said
"But I am supposed to protect you too"
"Jamie, it's an order."
". . ."
"Let's separate. I go that way" she said pointing at a door which led to a hallway and left
" Ok, well I guess I have to stick with you Lottie and you Y/n-"
"I'll go with Ellie, I'll protect her ."I said
He gave me a nod
On my way to the door I stopped and whispered to him:
"Please keep her safe "
He gave me a nod and I left

Me and Ellie returned to her room, and waited for Ingrid to come abd take us at the tour of the factory.
" Where are Lottie and Jamie?" I asked her
Ellie already broke the rule so it was no use for me to follow it
" I am searching for them right now."
"We'll come with you." Ellie said

Ingrid entered a room and we were just a few feet behind her when she said
"Ah, there you are lovebirds!"
Lovebirds?
When me and Ellie entered the room , Lottie and Jamie were holding hands , while Jamie was running his other hand through his hair, embarresed.
We locked eyes and his hand immediatly dropped Lotties. I don't know what they were doing but it was enough to wipe the smile off my face.

I ran away. I didn't know why , but I ran away. I didn't know where I was going. Good think for me I was faster than everyone else and no one could follow me. I arrived in a room and closed the door. It looked like it was a kitchen . I saw some muffins and I could'nt resist not taking one. It was one of the best things I've ever eaten. I wanted to take another one but I decited that I should stop.
I sat on a chair and started questioning what I have just done. Not the muffin of course !
Why was I that upset ? I had a very weird feeling in my stomach since I saw them like that. But I couldn't put my finger on it .

And then it hit me .Hard. It was- jealousy. But I wasn't jealous . Right? I mean, why would I be jealous ?I hated Jamie . I wouldn't have any reasons to be jealous. Right. I was just surprised to see them like that .
I got up and I was a little bit dizzy but I thought nothing of it.
I tried to figure out which way I came from . I arrived in the room where we found them .
And that's when I saw it. The most beautiful piano I've ever seen. I was anyways late at the tour so it didn't matter what I was doing anyways.
I sat down and touched a key. And then another one. And then another one. And whithout realizing, I started playing my favourite song. My mother thought me how to play the piano , this was her favourite song. We used to sing it together.
It was 'Bohemian Rhapsody'

She knew the lyrics would become true one day. And we both knew that day was approaching fast after she got ill. After she died, I could'nt play the piano anymore because it reminded me too much of her. But that's what I needed now. To feel like she is here, with me. So I started not only playing the piano, but singing too. The only persons that heard me sing were my mother and Lottie, because I was too shy to show this side of me to anyone.
I was halfway through the song when I realized I was crying. But that's what I needed right now. An escape .

I finished the song . And I heard someone sniffing. When I turned around , Jamie was standing in the doorway, wiping a tear away. That's the last person I wanted to see . But he was . . . crying? Jamie? Crying? It was just a tear so maybe something just got in his eye. He was staring at me whithout saying anything. I could tell my eyes were puffy.

He sat down next to me
". . ."
"Why did you ran away?"
"I-. . . needed to go to the toilet."
"I searched for you and you weren't there. "
"Did you search all the bathrooms in the manor?"
"No?"
"Exactly"
"Something tells me you weren't at the toilet."
"Well, sorry to break it to you but I was."
"Y/N, did you know what was happening when you entered the room ?"
". . .no"
"Would you like to find out ?"
" No ,thank you."
"Y/N, we were searching for the formula when we found this piano, and Lottie noticed that there is an inscription on it and realized is the same one-"
"As on Lolas musical box!"
"-yes, and we though it might have something to do with the formula but that's when Ingrid entered the room . We had to try and hide the fact that we found something so Lottie took my hand and I got the message. "
"Ooohh"
"And Ingrid didn't suspect a thing."
". . ."
"I'm pretty sure that's not the reason you ran away."
"It is ."
"If you say so."
"We should try and figure this out"
"Let's wait for the girls to finish the tour first."
"Why aren't you with them ?"
"I was looking for you, and right when I though you were with them at the tour I heard you singing and entered the room."
"That's why you were crying?" I asked smirking
"I wasn't."
"I saw a tear on your cheeck."
"That wasn't a tear it was a- sweating drop ."
"First, ew, and second , I don't believe you."
"Let's just say I got a little bit emotional when I heard you singing."
"Awww"
He gave me a look:
"But I was definitelly not crying."
". . ."
"You have a beautiful voice"
"I KNOW! I should just leave you all and be the next Ariana Grande or something. "
He rolled his eyes:
"Yeah sure, like you could live whithout us."
I gasped: "You think I can't live whithout you?"
"Mhm"
"Well you can't either"
"Oooh is that so ?"
"Mhm"
"You know what,Y/n? I think you reallly love us."
*gasp*
"ME?!"
"Mhm"
"I'm afraid I don't agree with you."
"Nothing new"
"HA ha ha" I said rolling my eyes
"Now , let's go and find the girls "
"Okay"
I stood up and I got dizzy immediatly and almost fell.
Jamie caught me:
"Y/N? Are you ok ?"
"I-. . ."
And that's the last thing I remember before everything went dark.
