Just wanted to clarify that

Your POV:

Did I spend the night crying?
Yes I did
Did he just broke my heart?
Yes he did
Do I hate him?

Will I spend the day locked in my room?

Oh my Gawd did I just make a poem?
No I didn't

A while later:
I was too hungry so I had to get out of my room. I dressed up and started walking to breakfast.
I got my food and I was about to take it in my room when Lottie gestured for me to come at their table
Of course he had to be there too
I took a seat next to Ellie and that's when she noticed me
She looked at me and flinched
"Y/N?"
"What?!"
"What happened to your face ?"
I gave her a death glare and turned to my food
"Someone's moody."she said
"Someone needs to shut up ."
"But seriously , Y/n . You look like you were hit by a bus ."
"Thanks! That's the look I was going for."
Lottie laughed
"You didn't sleep , did you?" my sister asked
I shook my head not looking her in the eyes
"Why?"
"I just- didn't. "
". . .okay"
"At least you don't look as bad as Jamie does ."
"Thank you Ellie" he replied , his voice full of sarcasm
That's when I noticed he had dark circles under his eyes too, it looks like he could'nt sleep either .
"He didn't sleep either " Lottie said to me
"Ok?"
"Y/N!"
"What?"
"Do you need to be that mean?"
"Do I get bonus points if I act like I care?"
". . ."
Even Jamie seemed to be shocked about what I said
"Let's take a walk." Lottie suddently said standing up
" Now?"
"Yes."
"But I haven't finished my breakfast."
"You'll finish it later.Come on Ellie"
She groaned:
" Why do I have to come ?"
"Because I say so , now come on."
"Jeez"
"Goodbye Jamie!"
"Bye Jamie!"
I just followed them whitout saying goodbye to him , I already said it yesterday , right?

We arrived at our secret place.
"Y/N."
"Lottie"
"What happened?"
"What do you mean?"
"It's obvious you cried . . . Am I wrong if I assume you spent the night crying?"
". . .no"
"Jamie didn't look good either" Ellie joined the conversation
"OF COURSE!" exlaimed Lottie
". . . what?" asked Ellie
Lottie turned to me :
"Something happened between you two "
"No it didn't "
"Yes it did"
"No it didn't "
"Come on ,Y/n ! I am your sister, you know you can trust me !"
"And I am your friend"Ellie joined
"Look, I love you guys. . . but nothing happened between us , I promise"
"Ok, I believe y-"
" Do you hear it too?"Ellie interrupted her
"Hear what?"
Ellie stood up and walked to the stairs. We got up and followed her.
"Someone is crying "
"Ellie wai-"
"I hear it too, the sound is moving"
"Let's follow it then " Lottie said
We followed the sound until we arrived at the entrance in the forest
"Are those bread crumbs?"
"Biscuits actually" I said taking a better look
"Let's follow them."
Lottie looked a little bit scared but followed us
"Do you hear the song too?" she asked us
". . .yes!"
We circled a three and there stood Lola Tompkins, crying her heart out and eating a pack of biscuits, the familiar smell of baby powder in the air.
"Lola?"
She flinched when she heard her name and whiped away her tears, trying to hide the fact that she was crying but  failed miserably.
"Are you ok?" Lottie asked her
"I'm  good" she responded trying to fake a smile
Lottie hugged her and we followed her example
"I didn't know you were back "
"I arrived in the morning . . ."
"What happened? Do I need to break someones nose?" I asked trying to get rid of the tension
She almost laughed:
"No ,no. It's just . . . my father. . ."
" I understand . . . we heard about him on the news . . ."
"He is ill . . . he has been for a long time but this year it got worse. Richard Butter, Percy's dad, helped him with the bussines . But now there are a lot of weird people wandering around the manor . . ."
"What kind of people?"
"Ingrid and Julius,they are trainees.
They scare me . . ."
"It's ok Lola " I hugged her thighter
"Do you think we should ask her about the Hamelin formula?" Ellie whispered not so quietly to Lottie
"Did you just said Hamelin formula?
Lola asked
"Eh-yes "
"How the hell did you find about about it ?"
Lottie looked at me and I gave her a nod:
"We think an alternative of the formula is the one who poisones the kids in the school . Do you know something about this?" Ellie replied
"It's not a nice story. My great grandpa , Hanz Thumann was the head of the research team. He was a horrible human. . . he realized how dangerous the formula is . . . so he hid his research and ran to England ,where he changed his name to Tompkins." she explained to Lola
". . ."
"This is all that's left from him" she said, taking out a musical box
She lifted the top and the song we heard when we entered the forest started playing
There was an inscription on it:

A/n: My german teacher would be so proud of me <3
I love reading in German and ignoring the fact that I can understand only half of the stuff I read :)) but I'm getting better :))
My teacher gives me little books in German so I can "learn new words" :)
German is my favourite subject if you couldn't tell 🤪

They turned to me:
"Eh-what?" Lottie asked me
"That's what the inscription says "
"Oooh , we forgot you were multilingual." Ellie said smirking

"Isn't it weird?" Lottie asked
"Maybe"
"Hanz gave the box to my mom and she gave it to me "
"That's  amazing!"
They turned amd looked weirdly at me
"I guess?"
"No, you don't get it. This means that Leviathan is searching for the researches . Which means they don't have all the information they need.
And this musical box has something to do with the formula. If they don't have it -"
"It means they don't have the original formula!" Lottie finishes my sentance
"Exactly!"
"Did I help you?" Lola asked
"More than you think" Ellie responded smiling

A few days later:

"Ouch!"
"Shhh! "
"The brenches sting me"
"Because you won't stop moving!"
"But my legs hurt"
"Stop acting like a baby Ellie"
". . ."
"Woah Y/n, you start to sound more and more like Jamie"
". . .sorry-ouch!"
"See?!"
"Ok ok , we should've chosen a less spiky bush "

What were we doing? I thought and mentally face palmed myself
It was 1:00 a.m. and  we were hiding in a bush, spying on Percy.
With Ollies' help and a little bit of Jamies' we found out Percy has something to do with Julius and Ingrid . So here we are.
We followed him all the way to
Conchs' gym .
"Did you hear that?"  I asked  and took a step forword to stop them
". . ."
"There's someome else here"
"We know , Einstein"
" I am not  talking about Percy , Ellie"

I heard a door  opening :
"Y/n?"
We all turned at the sound of the voice when the person came closer:
"Raph?"
"What the hell are you doing here in the middle of the night?" he asked closing the door behind him
"What are we doing here ? Ellie asked " What are YOU doing here ?"
"Ahh, pretzels!"
"Was that . . .Lola?"
"Who swears like that?" Raphael asked amused
Ellie gave him a look
We  approached and there was Lola, wearing a black coat with a hood,  desperately trying to lift  some weights that she most likely hit accidentally .
"Lola , what are you doing here?" Lottie asked her
"I was following my brother"
Raphaels mouth dropped open:
"Is Micky here too?"
"What are you all doing here ?" Lola asked us
"We were following Percy" I responded
"You were followiing Percy? " Raphael asked
" Weren't you  doing the same thing?" I asked him
"What?No, I was following Anastacia. Every two nights she comes here around this time."
"I knew it! She tries to get an advantage over the rest of the fencing club! That little-"
"Ellie!"
She gave Lottie a look
"Lola, where's Micky?"
" He entered the café"
We turned to the doble door at the end of the hallway which lead to the café.
"Wht were you following Percy?"
"We don't know yet, but we-aaah"
I tripped over someone who was standing behind the door .Two pairs of arms caught me . Ones were Ellies and the other ones belonged to the last person  I expected to see there:
"Jamie?" that's all I managed to say before we lost our balance and fell

I was sandwhiched  between Ellie and Jamie. We tried to stand up  at the same time but that only made things worse. Jamie growled and lifted me up in the same time with him ,then  he  helped Ellie up.
"What the hell are you doing here ?"he asked
Nome of us had time to respond because a voice said :
"Look"
That's when I realized Micky was the one I tripped over .
He pointed his finger to a silhouette, we took a step closer and saw Percy.
Then we hid behind a cabinet and watched.
He approached the candy stand and placed a Tompkins chocolate.

He was the one bringing the poisoned chocolates in the school.
"Well, I think we have the answear"
Jamie said
"They are all going to pay for this" Ellie said through greeted teeth
"Umm . . .is that Anstacia?"
We followed Rpahaels gaze and there she was , oh and was she mad 
"Hey!"she called out and spinned Percy around
The cabinet we were all leaning on could'nt take all our weight and it gave in
We rolled over and knocked down Anstacia and Percy
"What the -"
"Ok, that's it!" said Raphael standing up
". . ."
" Don't  you think it's time you tell us what the hell is happening here?" he asked angry

A/n: I have to figure some things out before I start writing the next chapter , which means it'll take me longer than usually to write it
