I woke up and realized I wasn't in my room, it took me a second to remember where I was.I turned my head to look at the clock but hit something .
"Ow" I heard someone say
I immediatly jumped out of the bed, too soon , because in two seconds my face was facing the floor.
Than , that person sighed . . .
I turned around and opened my eyes.
Jamie was standing above me , he looked me in the eyes frustrated than picked me up bridal style and positioned me back on the bad.
" Go back to sleep, Y/n" he said covering me with a blanket and than doing the same for him
". . .I-eh-what did just happen?"
"Do you think now is the right moment to speak about this?"
"Yes?"
"It's 4:30 a.m ."
"And?"
He sighed and turned around so he was facing me now :
"Ask away"
"What happened yesterday?"
"You fainted and I took you to your room,not wanting to draw attention to us . I thought you needed some sleep. I was about to leave when I realized I can't leave you alone after what happened so I stayed."
"And how did we end up like this ?"
"You fell asleep on my chest and I didn't want to wake you up. Then I fall asleep too. "
"Were we cuddli-"
"NO"
"But you were hugging me"
"No, YOU were hugging me"
"No, Jamie. Your arms were around my waist"
"No, YOUR arms were around my torso"
"No"
"Yes"
"No"
"Yes"
"No "
"Yes,now go back to sleep"
"But-"
"And you woke me up by hitting me . . .hard . The end."he said annoyed
I tried to contain my laugh
"Y/N, it's not funny"
"But I was just trying to look at the clock , how was I supposed to know you were there?"
"You could've checked"
"Oh really , Jamie ? I could've checked?"
". . .go back to sleep."
"But I'm not tired."
"Then shut up and let ME sleep"
"And what am I supposed to do?"
"I don't know, search for the formula or something"
"Pf"
". . ."
"I'm gonna go get breakfast , do you want something?"
"You are eating breakfast now? At 4 a.m in the morning?"
"Yes."
"Y/N, the breakfast ia served at 9:00 a.m."
"I found a kitchen yesterday"
"And?"
"And I am going to go make us something to eat"
"Pf I forgot you were a chéf" he said smirking
"It's not funny Jamie"
"When did you find the kitchen anyways?"
"Yesterday when I ran away. . when I was searching for the bathroom"
"Mhm sure"
"Anyways ,goodbye Jamie!"
"Are you going to go there looking like that?"
"What is wrong with my-oh"
I realized I was still wearing yesterdays clothes
"I was about to change" I said entering the bathroom
"Sure" I heard him say

"Well goodbye Jamie!"
"Mhm"
"Yesterday I found muffins on the kitchens' counter, I really hope there are still there."
"Please tell me you didn't eat any of them"
"Uhm . . . no?"
"Y/N!They must've been poisoned!"
" Well, they weren't.  Otherwise I wouldn't be here in front of you right now. "
"You remmeber you fainted right?"
"Mhm"
"And when did that happen?"
". . .after I ate them"
"Exactly!"
"I wasn't thinking properly!I was angry"
". . .why were you angry?"
"Because I could'nt find the bathroom of course"
"Mhm"

"Wait for me "
"Are you coming too?"
"I'm not going to let you go there alone"
"Awww someone's concerened about me "
"Someone needs to be thankful because I'm going there to save someones life"

"Yours "
"I can take care of myself"
"Oooh I know. Now wait for me"

After he got ready we exited my room.
"Lead the way"
"Yeah . . . about that-"
"You don't even remember don't you?"
"Well I was going to search until I find it "
"In the whole manor?"
"Yes"
He sighed
"You  don't remember a single thing?"
"Actually, if you can show me where the room with the piano is, I know how to get to the kitchen from there"
"Wonderfull, follow me"

An hour later:
"Y/N?"
"Yes?"
"Are you stressed?"
"No?"
"This is your third bowl of cereal! You barelly eat one usually"
"And?"
"And?! You are stress eating"
"Why would I be stressed?"
"Oh, I don't know. Did you know you aree going to participate at the the Spearion?"
"I completely forgot about that"
"Like I believe you"
I jumped out of my seet:
"Do you hear footsteps too?"
"I-we weren't supposed to be here, were we?"
"Clearly not"
"What should we-come here"
He pulled me under the table with him
No one could see us but we were basically sandwhiched togethere
"Don't move"he whispered to me
" Pf , like I could if I wanted t-"
he covered my mouth with his hand when we heard the door opening
I would lie if I'd say I wasn't a little bit scared
"Your heart is beating so fast"
". . ."
"Are you scared ?"
" . . .No"
". . ."
"What's our exit strategy?"
"Our what?"
"Oh my God we are going to get killed"
"Well I didn't know we were going to end up like this "
"Shouldn't a partizan be ready for any situation?"
"I don't know you tell me"
I silently gasped:"You did not"
I lightly hit him in the chest
I could feel him smirking
"Well aren't you a partiza-oooh I  totally forgot you-ouch"
"Be. silent. "
"I would if you'd  stop hitting me "
". . ."
"But for real now, how are we getting out of here ?"
"We wait until whoever is here leaves"
"Wonderfull"
". . ."
"Don't you think they left until now?"
"Maybe they heard you talking and waited here to catch us "
"Whatever I'm getting outta here"
"Y/N!"he whisper shouted
But I was already out
"Noooooo"
In two seconds he was in front of me
"What happened? " he looked around and saw there was nobody there
"Why did you scream?"
"Whoever was here took our bowls"
"What a tragedy"
"Meh I wasn't hungry anyways"
"HA!I knew you were stressed!"
"I wasn't."
"Mhm"
"I'm going back to my room.
Goodbye!"
"Don't forget at 9:00 a.m we meet with the girls"he said over my shoulder
"I knoow"

"Hurry up everyone! We enter in five minutes." miss Bolter told us
Ellie was standing there nonchalantly while me and Anastacia were pacing around stressed .
"No stress huh?" Jamie asked amused by my behaviour
"Oh shut up Jamie"

Lottie didn't know who to comfort first : "It's going to be ok guys, you worked hard for this . You deserve to be here !"

"No, I can't do this" I said and almost exited the room , but Jamie was faster
"No no no, you are not going anywhere" he said holding me back
"Y/N is right " Anastacia said and almost exited the room but got hold back too
"Nah, you are not going anywhere either" Ellie told her
Jamie was looking between me and Anastacia frustrated
"Just let us go!" Anastacia said frustrated
"No." both Jamie and Ellie replied

"It's time ! " miss Bolter said entering the room
"Sh*t" I said
Jamie dragged me and I was now standing in front of miss Bolter, smiling akwardly at her .
"If I die , I'm going to kill you Jamie" I whispered to him

"I just want you all to know that I'm really proud of you. You all worked really hard to be here and you deserve this . Good luck everyone!"miss Bolter told us
We all clapped and the doors opened

Two hours and a half later:

After all the festivities , I was free to go. Ellie and Anastacia left twenty minutes ago with Percy, I know something bad happened but I couldn't go because of miss Bolter.
I had to held a speech. I wasn't expecting to win and I was anyways stressed with all the stuff going on, that I didn't realise what was happening.  After I held it , took my reward and shook some of my competitors hands, I ran out of there as fast as I could. I decited I should search first their dorms,the room with the piano, and then all the other rooms.
On another page, I WON!!
I would lie if I would say I didn't cry. Well I didn't actually cry, my eyes just watered a little bit , maybe a little bit more.
Ellie got the 3rd place, and Anastacia the 4th. We were at the final duel, me and a guy named Will, he was a year older than me and he  was just . . .wow. His moves were flawlles, so fast and so calculated. Watching him compete against me was - let's just say he was amazing. I still don't know how I managed to win against him, but I've never been so proud of myself .
I think it's not the right time for telling the  story.

I was in front of the room with the piano, I heard voices from inside but I couldn't put a name on them.
I tried to open the door
It was locked
Oh no
Well this isn't for sure a good sign
I started thinking about what I should do next. I got a bobby pin out of ny hair and tried to unlock the door. If it works in movies , it should work in real life too, right?
To my surprise,  it opened
I pushed it and - let's just say I wasn't ready for what came next.
