We've heard from many of you that while you'd love to attend the full convention, including the live panel sessions, the cost to attend is a barrier. In a burgeoning landscape of endless streaming services and media platforms, the need for content seems larger than ever. And with built-in audiences, TV/Film adaptations have emerged as a more than viable option to fill that content gap. But how does that process work? What does it mean for your story to have a "shopping agreement?" Hear from Amber Chen , Beth Reeks, and Kate Marchant as they demystify that process and share their own experiences in the entertainment landscape. The panel will be moderated by Lindsey Ramey, Head of Global Film at Wattpad WEBTOON Studios.

Room For Everyone: Diversity and Inclusion in our Stories: 

As the publishing industry evolves into becoming a much more diverse and inclusive place for writers and stories, it can often feel like fighting an uphill battle. And yet, the conversations around inclusivity, the authors who promote it, and the stories that exemplify it cannot be understated. While these discussions can be difficult, they are important. Join us for a talk around inclusivity, how to include it in your own stories without falling into problematic pratfalls, and in general, the importance of continuing the fight for it.  It will be moderated by Brittany Chung Campbell, book coach and ethical storytelling consultant, and will feature Sondi Warner, Marianna Leal , Romi Moondi, and Evelyn Yang. 

The Power of Genre: How Romance Challenges Our Perspective on Art: 

From teen love stories to Muslim romances, paranormal LGBTQIAP+ affairs, and everything in between, there's a love-laden story for everyone on Wattpad. Join us for an intimate virtual conversation with successful romance writers who've had hit stories on Wattpad: How they did it, what they learned, and tips and tricks for success. It will be moderated by Tamara Lush and feature Alix & Nick Hicks, Amber D. Samuel and Avery Keelan.
