“Tone, Tony. Wake up. You have to leave in about an hour.” I said pushing on his sides.
“Ughh.” He moaned to himself. “It’s so early.”
“I know, but you can sleep on the bus.” I laughed pushing him off the bed.
“Oh, it’s on now shorty.” He said coming and tickling my sides. I bit his arms and he let go. “You’re so fiesty.” He smiled.
“I try.” I said and sat up.
There was a knock down stairs at the door. “STEPHYYYYYYYY.” I yelled and ran downstairs. Tony’s face dropped.
“I’VE MISSED YOU.” I said and hugged her for a long time.
“I’VE MISSED YOU TOO CARMEN.”
-Tony.
I debated on going downstairs, I didn’t want to face Stephanie, but I wanted to spend as much time as I could with Carmen before I left. Mike had already texted me saying he’d be here in about 5 minutes.
They were screaming and yelling downstairs, I decided to walk down there.
As I was walking down the stairs Stephanies eyes glowed up at me. “Hello Tony.” She smiled walking toward me for a hug.
I cringed and put my arms around her, this brought back a lot of memories, but thankfully she pulled away quickly.
“When are you leaving?” She asked.
I looked out the window, not making any eye contact with her. “Right now actually.. The guys are here.”
I looked at Carmen who was still looking excited. “Can I have a goodbye hug and kiss bestfriend?” I asked before leaving..
She nodded and walked toward me, her eyes were already glassing up. “I’ll text and call you everyday Carmen, I promise.” I said and leaned in to kiss her.
I felt Stephanies eyes peering in at us. I kissed Carmen one more time and started to leave. “Bye Stephanie, take care of her for me.”
She smiled. “I will, you know that, Turtle.”
-Carmen.
I was dreading Tony leaving now. But I was going to be okay without him for about 2 months.
After he left Stephanie started questioning me. “So, What’s going on with you and Tone?”
I looked at her. “We’re bestfriends?”
She laughed. “Doesn’t seem like it babes.”
She was right, but I didn’t mind our relationship we had.
“Exactly, speechless.” She said snottily.
“What?” She changed her mood now.
“Nothing Carmen.”
“Seriously, if you’re going to be like that you can leave. You were fine while Tony was here.”
“Well, then Im leaving. Love you Carm.. And yes. That’s because I want him back.” She said and slammed the door.
I stared at her. She had hurt Tony so bad to the point he wasn’t himself since. then. I didn’t care. I had the house to myself so I went upstairs to Tony’s room and cuddled up in his bed.
He had a hoodie with a note attached to it on the bed that said: Carm, I know you’re laying in bed right now. I left this hoodie for you to cuddle with, it has my cologne sprayed on it. You know where that is if it loses it’s smell. And when you’re seeing this note you should call me, because I miss you already too. I love you.”
I smiled. He knew me so well. Every Time he had gone on tour I would go through withdrawals within the first hour he’d be gone. The first night I usually cried because I missed him so much.
I pulled the hoodie up to my chest and cuddled it, and pulled out my phone to call Tony.
“Hello Love. I found your letter.”
“I miss you already Carmen.” He said, his voice sounded hurt.
“I miss you too Tone, only 2 months.” I tried to lighten his mood.
“That’s such a long time though.”
“I know. You can do it though.”
“I guess... Can I ask you something Carmen?” He asked.
I paused. “I guess so, go for it.”
“Promise me you wont find anyone else when I’m gone.”
“I pinky promise Tony. If I could have anyone it’d be you okay.”
He got quiet now. “I agree Carm. I love you, and not as a bestfriend way. Like a, I miss how we used to be, before we broke it off.”
I smiled when he said that. “I feel the same way. I love you too. Im going to take a nap though, Im still tired. I’ll text ya later?”
“Of course. Sweet Dreams beautiful.”
I hung up my phone and fell asleep on Tony’s side of the bed. Only 2 months, and i’d see him again. I couldn’t wait. a
