(The figure stops)

(Voice: Are you bitten? Scratched?)

Ashton- No. Just a bit tired and hot.

(Voice: How many of you are there?)

Ashton- 3.

(Voice: Why are you here?)

Michael- We need shelter. Why else?

(The figure turns on their flash light and walks over to them) (Lauren looks nervous and holds Ash's arm)

(The person walks over and it's a boy, around their age) (Calum: 19. black hair, tan skin) (Wearing black Green Day t-shirt and black skinny jeans and a grey beanie) (He's holding a gun in his other hand)

Calum- Who's the sarcastic douche?

Michael- Why didn't you just show yourself from the go? This isn't the Wizard of Oz or some shit. And why else would we be here, if we didn't need shelter?

Ashton- Mike.

Michael- What? Really though? Why else would we be here? To give him his acceptance letter to Hogwarts?

(Lauren chuckles)

Calum- Nice. You done, mate?

Michael- Sure.

Calum- Cool. I'm Calum. Mates call me Cal.

Ashton- Ok, Cal-

Calum- I said my mates. You're not my friend. For all I know, you guys could just want this place to yourself. Heard you break through the window. Thanks for that.

(Michael makes a face)

Ashton- Ok...fair enough, sorry Calum. But, we really don't want any trouble. Just a place to sleep for the night. We didn't know anybody was actually staying here, already.

(Calum lowers his gun)

Calum- Where'd you guys come from?

Michael- My mum's v-

(Ashton cuts him off)

Ashton- LA, we're headed to the nearest safety zone.

Calum- The one in Utah? or whatever.

Lauren- Yeah.

Calum- It doesn't exist. Trust me.

Michael- How can you be so sure?

Calum- I just know, ok? Don't waste your time. You'll just end up disappointed.

(Ashton and Mike share a look)

Lauren- It was on the news. It's actually a place. People are there, waiting on their families to show up.

Calum- A lot's changed since they stopped broadcasting. It's not there. At least not anymore. Pretty sure it was overrun.

(Lauren stays quiet)

Michael- Pretty sure. So, you don't actually know.

Ashton- Anyway, we just need a place to stay....would you be alright with us staying here? At least for tonight?

(Calum thinks a second)

Calum- You're sure nobody's been bitten or injured?

Ashton- We're sure.

Calum- It's only the three of you?

Ashton- Yes.

Michael- So, are you gonna stop being a prick and let us stay or not?
