Is There Somewhere?

Mali- (Pauses a minute before speaking) You know how I said I was helping find a cure for the virus? (Calum nods) Well, in order to do that, we need test subjects. So, we have a few walkers held in an isolation room. They're always monitored and never left alone, so there's never a chance they'd escape.

Calum- But, why don't you tell the residences about it? It's sort of sketchy keeping it to yourself like that.

Mali- Wes is afraid that if they knew, they'd wanna leave, putting them in even more danger than if they stayed.

Calum- That's what Luke said.

Mali- Luke knows?

Calum- I told him I heard noises and thought it was a walker.

Mali- Oh. Ok. Well, please keep it to yourself. Promise me?

Calum- Yeah. I promise.

Mali- Thank you. Nobody's in danger here, we just can't risk freaking everyone out for no reason.

Calum- I believe you.

(Mali gives a small smile)

Mali- Ok. Thank you.

Calum- Sure. (They walk into the room)

Kambree- Mali! (She runs over to her) (They hug) Holy shit. (Mali smiles)

Mali- Kam.

Kambree- I can't believe you're here. I freaked out when they told me you were here.

Mali- Same. When Cal said you and Luke were here, I was beyond stoked. Holy shit. (They hug again)

Calum- Guys, this sis my sister, Mali.

(Mali waves) (They all give some form of a greeting)

Mali- Hi.

(They all gather at the table)

(Later)

(They're all laughing and joking around, having a good time)

(Michael and Kambree are making their way out of the kitchen)

Michael- Night guys. (Waves) Nice meeting you Mali.

Mali- You too. Night guys.

Kambree- Night. (Waves) (They go)

Ashton- Night guys. (He goes to leave)

Luke- Night.

Calum- Night, man.

(He leaves)

Luke- Think I'm gonna get some sleep too guys.

Mali- Night, mate.

Luke- Night.

Calum- Later, Luke.

Emma- Think I'll go to bed too. I still need to take a shower anyway. It was nice to meet you Mali.

Mali- You too. (Emma waves and goes) (Zoe stays)

(Luke's waiting on her) (She almost runs into him)

Emma- Oh. Hey.

Luke- Hey. (Smiles) (They head to the elevator)

(Mali gets up)

Mali-Think since everyone's getting ready for bed, I'm gonna call it a night too. Have some work to do tomorrow.

Calum- Alright. (She hugs Cal again, who's still sitting)
