Is There Somewhere?

(Calum's still awake but, doses off, after glancing around the room)

(Michael's thinking)

(He thinks about his mom and dad barbecuing, while he's on the deck with them) (Then the thoughts change to the day his house was overrun by a few walkers)

(He blinks and comes back to reality) (He notices Kambree looking over at him)

(She looks away) (Michael sits up)

Michael- (Whispers) You ok? (Kambree stays quiet) (Michael nods) Ok. (He lays back into the sofa) Goodnight.

(Kambree looks like she wants to say something, but doesn't) (She just keeps to herself, holding the end of her necklace in her hand)

(That morning)

(Luke's awake and making breakfast)

(Calum opens his eyes, still laying down)

Calum- What's on the menu, Lucas?

(Luke smirks)

Luke- Dry cereal.

Calum- My favorite. (Half joking) (Gets up)

Luke- Good, that's all we've got. Besides some microwaveable bacon I got on the run yesterday. I was gonna try cooking that outside...like over a fire or something.

Calum- I can do that for ya.

(Ashton hears them talking and wakes up) (He glances at Lauren, she's still sound asleep) (He slowly and carefully sits up)

Luke- Morning.

Ashton- Mornin.

Calum- We're having dry cereal. Get excited. (Fixes his hair)

(Ashton chuckles)

Luke- And bacon.

Ashton- Sweet. It's been ages since we've had hot food.

Luke- What have you been eating this whole time? Didn't you have a place to put a fire?

Ashton- Just granola bars, canned fruits and other boxed or canned things. We weren't in a safe enough place to actually stand around outside. So, we never really tried. (Luke nods)

Luke- Makes sense though. Not sure I'd risk my life for bacon either. (Smirks) (Ashton huffs a small laugh)

(Calum puts on his shoes and goes over to the bags of food, Luke brought in yesterday night) (He grabs the bacon)

Calum- Back in a minute.

Luke- 'K.

(Calum leaves)

Ashton- I was thinking.....(Luke glances at him a second)

Luke- Yeah?

Ashton- Yeah....you guys-you should come with us to Utah.

Luke- I dunno....it seems like it could be more danger than it's worth. I mean, if it's overrun, then what? We just come back here?

Ashton- I know it's a risk but, wouldn't it be worth it, if everything was fine? Like- the safety zone was still up and running. We'd all be safer there, with actual living people.

(Luke puts some cereal in a bowl and hands it to Ashton)

Luke- Here.

Ashton- Cheers.
