Is There Somewhere?

Sadie- What are you doing? (Smiles) (Ashton keeps his eyes closed and flips through the pages)

Ashton- Going on an adventure, remember? (Sadie's interested in what he's doing) (He stops flipping pages and opens his eyes on the page he's landed on) Ah, Guatemala. (He looks at Sadie) Never been but, looks like a fun time. What do you think?

Sadie- I feel like it'd take forever to hike up that ancient ruin thing. (Points) (Ashton giggles)

Ashton- I'd probably have somebody carry me up there.

Sadie- Right? (She chuckles) I wanna try. (Ashton slides the book to her) So, I just close my eyes and whatever page I land on's my destination?

Ashton- Yep.

Sadie- Ok. (She closes her eyes and flips pages) (She stops and opens her eyes) Jamaica.

Ashton- Nice. Looks warm. Tropical.

Sadie- Right? Wish I was in Jamaica.

Ashton- Well, for right now, you are....what are your plans to have fun?

Sadie- Hmmm (thinks) Beach. Definitely the beach. (Ashton nods)

Ashton- I miss the beaches back home.

Sadie- I'll bet. Australia looks amazing. I'd love to visit someday, if I get a chance.

Ashton- Best place in the world. In my opinion but, maybe I'm just being biased.

Sadie- I think that's what most people say about their home country. So, maybe it's just a bit biased but no shame in having pride in where you're from.

Ashton- Where'd you wanna go in Australia?

Sadie- The Sydney Opera House.

Ashton- Why's that?

Sadie- It's just a cool thing. I don't know really. I feel like every tourist has to see it at least once, right?

Ashton- Fair enough. Anything else?

Sadie- Same as Jamaica, any beach.

Ashton- Gold Coast is amazing. (Sadie looks through the book and goes to Australia)

Sadie- There? (She points to the picture labeled Gold Coast)

Ashton- That's the place.

Sadie- It looks beautiful. Wow. (Ashton glances at her)

Ashton- It's a sight to see, that's for sure. (She looks at him) (They lock eyes for a second, then she looks down at the book again)

Sadie- Um...

Ashton- Ok. Next place? (Sadie nods) (Ashton closes his eyes)

Sadie- Do you miss it a lot?

Ashton- 'stralia?

Sadie- Yeah. Like, your friends from home and places you use to go all the time?

Ashton- Big time. But, who knows when I'll get back there again.

Sadie- Well I guess, until then, we have our adventure books. Right? (He opens his eyes and smiles a bit)

Ashton- Hell yeah we do. And you're a lovely adventurer partner.

Sadie- Aw. Thanks. Can you believe it's my first time?

Ashton- No way?! I would've guessed it was at least your second or third. You seem quite experienced.
