Life's Complications

Concert day

Two weeks pass, concert day arrives. Sapphire, Shadow, Tails and Harriot are at the venue. Night has fallen and it's nearly time for their set. In the practice area of the venue, the group are practising their set. Sapphire gets nervous as she remembers that she must perform solo later.

"Are you alright, Sapphire?" Harriot asks

"Just nervous about my solo performance. That's all." Sapphire admits

"Knowing someone of your brilliance, you'll ace it my friend. I bet Amy's watching from hospital. Also, we've managed to get Emerald in to watch us. She's in the audience right now."

Sapphire looks at the screen showing the audience, to notice Emerald in one of the front seats.

"How did you manage to get her in?"

"We've managed to talk our way into getting Emerald into the audience." Shadow answers

Sapphire smiles, as she sees Emerald enjoying herself. Soon, the band get back to practice. Two acts later, the band get on stage and perform their set, without a hitch. After two more acts, Sapphire is called up for her solo performance. Since she forgot to finalise the song choice, she chooses a song she likes.
