34. Double Date Part 2

Alex's POV...

It's Friday morning and us four can't wait until 6:30. I've never been to Maccheroni Republic before, but for all of Julie's late 'I can't sleep' talks, her mom and dad used to love going there.

I got out of bed and went to go make breakfast. Ray will be so excited. I'm gonna go get Reg so he can help too.

"Thanks for waking me up man." Reggie says as we walk back into the kitchen.

"No problem. I thought it would be nice to do something for Ray for once. He's let us stay with him for this long. Speaking of, we should find houses. Jules and Luke already have a house and 4 kids for goodness sakes."

"Yeah, when you put it that way..." He says with a weird look on his face.

"Sorry, you know me, when I get excited, I let all my thoughts out."

"I know, let's get cooking!"

We make breakfast and soon Carlos, Ray, Flynn, and Willie come to the kitchen. Everyone is surprised. Reggie burnt the eggs a little but at least he didn't undercook them.

We finish breakfast and try to patiently wait for 6:30.

6 hours later... (SpongeBob voice)

It's time to get ready for dinner even though it's still 2 hours away. Flynn still has to get the 'perfect outfit' in her own words. She's such a fashionista and I live for it.

Me and Willie wear dress shirts and jeans. Reggie and Flynn wore red-themed clothes. Reggie wore a black dress shirt with a red vest and black pants. And Flynn wore a dark-red dress with black leggings.

Time flew by and it was already 6:00, so we decided that it was time to head out. So I called Luke and thanked him again and then we were on our way.

When we got there, the place was full of fancy-looking decor and lots of people.

Willie and I turned in our reservations and walked to our seats. Reggie and Flynn trailed behind us.

"So, what are you fine people going to order tonight?" The waiter asks.

"I'll have some Gnocchi." I say.

"I'll just share with him." Willie says, I blush.

"I'll have the Tortilloni Alfredo." Flynn says.

"And I'll have the Ravioli di Zucca." Reggie says.

"Okay, I'll get that right here for you."

"Okay thank you." We all say, as the waiter walks away.

"This is a really nice place." Flynn says.

"Yeah it's even better than Justin Beiber's empty pool." Willie says, and we all laugh.

20 minutes later...

"Here you are." The waiter says while handing us our plates.

"Thank you so much." Flynn says, already digging in.

Reggie starts to eat and already gets food on his face. I have the urge to leave it, but since we're in a fancy restaurant I decided that I would be nice and tell him.

"So, about Luke and Julie."

"What about em'?" Reggie asks.

"I really thought that Luke would propose by now. I mean they have 4 kids now and a house. And he is head over heels for that girl."

"You've got a point, but who knows, he might have a plan." Flynn says.

"I guess you're right."

I think we need to start those kids out young with instruments. I'm gonna talk with Julie and Luke about a really good idea I had.

But it's getting late and we should probably start to finish up.

Besides, Willie said he had a surprise for me.

"Hey guys, I think we should finish up, it's getting late and I'm getting kind of full."

"Yeah, me too." They all said, then laughed."

We paid and then left the restaurant and then drive back to Julie and Luke's place.

"Hey guys! How was the dinner?" Julie asked, curiously.

"It was amazing! The food was so good!" Reggie screamed.

"Shhhh! Reg, the quads are finally asleep!" Luke whisper-yelled.

"Oops, sorry." He quietly answered back.

"Luke, I have to talk to you." I asked.
