The next day seemed colder than the last. Significantly more hopeless and honestly Mercy was lacking the will to live.

However she would take it. Though she decided to spend some time on the beach to brighten her day.

Even if it was a little. She opened her curtains and it showed a beautiful view of everything like usual.

It was warm in the room so it was comfortable. She changed into a white bathing suit with a button-up and some loose shorts.

Then her glasses and sun hat. Sandals everything she needed. Checking her breathe she decided to brush then spray some perfume a little goes a long way.

Once she had finished dressing she grabbed a black tote and put her wallet and gun inside before leaving out the door.

Her room key fits in her pocket so she just left it. Once she was able to leave the hotel she walked to her car and drove to the beach.

She got there at two pm the best time of the day. It was nice and warm pairing gorgeously with the warm water.

Laying on the beach she took out a book and read as she tanned in the sun. She hummed to the soft music that played from someone's boombox.

Soon footsteps where heard and she sighed. Hoping it was just a cute couple who had come to sit a few feet away.

But sadly it was a man.She looked at him and got up."What do you want?" She asks."A date?" He asks.

She looked behind and saw his friends cheering him on."No im fine." She says. He looked at her angrily and walked away.

"Really thought he was hot stuff." She muttered before taking off the button up and shorts. Then she grabbed her tote and walked towards the ocean.

She sat just where the waves touched her feet. So not too close to the water. But close enough the sand was wet and dark from the water brushing over it.

The white sand was so different from the beaches she was used to. But she never really was able to get used to a lot now.

Staring at the beige nail polish on her toes she sighed.'How depressing.' She thinks looking into the sun.

For any young woman they would be thrilled to be in a warm city with perfect weather. But being alone wasn't nice.

Especially when you know your former lovers are walking around in the same city. So she was just trying to enjoy her time there.

The nice off days she got before she had to shoot someone's brains out. The blood and tissue that goes everywhere is a big turnoff.

The mood was soon ruined when she thought about the crimson liquid she would eventually be returning to.

The sad thing was she almost missed it. The rush as she felt the adrenalin in her viens. The clear power.

Something about not being a victim for her was comforting.
