Kaisoo: Unattainable Love

13: The Notes Return

They woke up the next morning surprisingly early. Early enough for them to be able to take time getting ready, and eat breakfast. So once they were both sitting up and stretching, Kai proposed an idea.

"How about we go shower? We've got time," Kai said, looking over to Kyungsoo, who looked confused.

"Not enough for both of us to- wait, you mean together?" Kyungsoo asked, owl-eyes widening.

"Yes I meant together dummy," Kai said with a chuckle and a smile. Unsureness crossed Kyungsoo's face. Sure, Kai had seen all his scars, but that didn't mean he wasn't still slightly insecure about them. And, even though Kai had seen almost all of Kyungsoo's body, there was that one little part he hadn't, and Kyungsoo was already so insecure.

"And we'll wear boxers, of course," Kai added, leaning over to peck Kyungsoo's lips. "We wouldn't want anything... happening, this morning," Kai continued. Kyungsoo let out a sigh of relief. He'd be willing to face his insecurities with his scars, as long as it was only that, for now. So the smaller nodded his head in agreement.

"O-okay," He stuttered a bit. "Th-that sounds okay," Kyungsoo continued with a shy smile. A smile lit up Kai's face.

"Alright, come on love," Kai said with a smile as he pecked Kyungsoo's lips, taking his hand and leading him to the bathroom. They both undressed to their boxers, not paying any mind to each other's bodies yet as Kai turned the shower on and let it warm up, stepping in once it had, and pulling Kyungsoo in alongside him.

The water rained down in the small, but not uncomfortably small, shower. And Kyungsoo looked to Kai, amazed by his perfect body.

Kai's broad shoulders were covered with muscle, water was dripping down his perfect jawline. His shaggy brown hair lie in every direction, but somehow still looked so good. His abs were the definition of perfection, perfectly sculpted and defined. His abdomen was rock solid as well. Kyungsoo admired Kai's perfect muscles, his perfect tanned skin, his perfect hair, and just the perfection that was his boyfriend, Kim Jongin.

Kai's eyes wandered over Kyungsoo, admiring him, every aspect of him. The way he had just the most adorable chubby cheeks, the fact that he didn't have abs, just a nice flat stomach covered in soft pale skin Kai could never keep his hands off of. The way the water had matted his hair to his forehead, making it fall to cover his owl-like eyes. His beautiful hips and curves. Everything, everything about his lover was beautiful, even his scars.

He knew how Kyungsoo felt about his scars, but he felt differently. The scars showed how strong Kyungsoo was inside, that he could endure all that pain, even when he'd been alone, that he could carry on through all those times. They showed Kyungsoo's strength and courage, and Kai liked that. No he didn't like that he'd gotten hurt, no he didn't intend on ever letting him get hurt again. He just found the scars beautiful because they were what made Kyungsoo the boy he loved.

Standing there under the water, neither of them spoke, they just looked at each other, silence filling the room, the only sound being that of the running water. Kai gently pulled Kyungsoo towards him, one arm around his waist, the other lightly caressing his cheek. Standing there, admiring each other's soakedbeautifull, and sexy bodies, they felt no sexual desire. All they could feel was love. Love for each other, love for their love.

After the short shower, the two got themselves dressed. It was then that they realized they didn't have the time to stop by Kyungsoo's house to get his uniform, so he just put on one of Kai's. It was quite big on him, it hung loose on his narrow sholders, was baggy around his thin waist. the pants had to be rolled up at the top for them to stay up at all. But honestly, Kai thought it looked adorable.
