Calm as ever
I float to the clouds above
What was the problem?
I can't remember what
it was
I'm not alive
A husk is what I am
Call my name
And I will act surprised
Because I am not me
I am not the person
that you see
Calm as ever
Ice runs in my veins
I want to swim forever
To forget it all
All the negative energy
that surrounds me
Makes that outcome
A real possibility
You call my name
And I don't answer
I'm swimming
Don't worry
I'll be here forever
I'm not in a hurry

Melancholy Dreams
PoetryMy poetry is an extension of myself. Every time I write, I stain the page with portions of my thoughts and emotions. Pieces of my former self lie in the stanzas. What is left is the current version of myself. This is my story, more or less.
