Sorry for the long cliffhanger (not really) (kinda sorry it was over a year though)
"There was a Thomas there before, right?" Logan pointed to the spot where Thomas had been only moments before.
Everyone nodded. Janus hissed quietly.
"That'ssss less than ideal."
Virgil smacked him.
"No shit Sherlock. What do we do now?"
Everyone looked to Patton, a move which made anger stir inside Logan, they had never looked at him like that when he was the logical one.
Patton thought for a moment, his face scrunched up in seriousness. His gaze landed on Roman, still lying on the ground covered in tears and dirt.
"Roman, how did you know the Dragon was going to take Thomas?"
Roman didn't reply, just continued shaking as he tried to hold in his tears.
A laugh echoed through the forest.
"I know how he knew."
The group turned around to come face to face with-
"Remus?"
Remus smiled and gave a little bow.
"The one and only. Roman and I were just having a nice little chat about my buddy the Dragon-witch's plans before you guys showed up."
He paused as he noticed Janus.
"Snakey! What're you doing here?"
"I was preserving our entire existence. What're you doing?"
Remus laughed.
"Stuff."
Janus marched over to Remus and grabbed his shirt collar.
"Where did it take Thomassss?!"
Remus pulled a weird face.
"Choke me harder Snake Daddy, and maybe I'll tell you~~"
