(This story will operate under the idea that Deceit can and occasionally does tell the truth. He lies when he wants to cause trouble)

It was a nice day in the mind palace. Quiet. Peaceful even. Three of the four main sides of Thomas Sanders' personality were just sitting together. Enjoying each other's company. Logan was trying to solve a Rubik's Cube, Patton was drawing in the little notebook he had, and even Virgil was relaxing with his headphones on and his music at a low volume. However, the fourth main side, Roman, was nowhere to be seen. It was unusual for the Prince to be so quiet for so long, and it was starting to bug Virgil.

Suddenly, in rushed Roman with a big smile on his face.
"Guys, I made the best thing!"

They all collectively looked confused, except Patton, he was smiling because Roman was smiling.
"What is it kiddo?"

"An adventure room!"

Virgil sat up from where he was lying on the floor.
"A what?"

"An adventure room! A room full of all sorts of adventures and quests to go on. It has things from Harry Potter, Percy Jackson, comic books. I thought maybe we could all go and explore it together."

Roman could tell by the looks on their faces that Logan and Virgil did not like this idea. Patton, however, was definitely in.
"I think that sounds like a great idea Roman. Why don't you and the others go get ready and I'll make a little picnic to take with us."

The others shot quick glares at Patton that he couldn't see, but the got up and followed Princey anyway. Neither one felt like trying to convince Patton that this wasn't a good idea.

Once they were gone, Patton made his way into the kitchen and began to put together a nice little picnic lunch. He packed everyone's favorite sandwich and chips, along with sodas and some of his cookies. While he was doing this, who should walk in but the snake himself, Deceit. He quietly looked around in the refrigerator and came out with a large bottle of blue Fanta. He must not have seen Patton at first because when he spoke Deceit nearly jumped two feet in the air.

"Hi Deceit."

Deceit rolled his eyes. Aside from Virgil, Patton was one of Deceit's least favorite sides, though he did enjoy the fact that Patton was at least nice to him.
"Hello Patton."
He saw the picnic basket he was packing.
"What's that? Not that I care."

"Just a little picnic for me and the others. We're going to explore this little adventure room Roman made."
Patton thought for a second.
"Would you like to come with us?"

"Really?"

"Yeah! Climb aboard the adventure train, just make sure deceit isn't taken."

Deceit groaned at the pun. He really wasn't one for adventure, but this would definitely piss off at least Virgil and most likely Roman.
"Sure. I'd love to come."

"Great! I already made you a lunch!"

And suddenly, Deceit was being pulled along by his arm with no clear escape.
