Persephone Pov

Coming out of my sleep I can tell the light is trying to peak through the blinds. I blink rapidly and felt around. Something felt off.

I jolt right up and look frantically until I realize I'm not at my personal hell but a hotel?

All the events come crashing in me when I realize that I'm free from them. I look at the clock on my phone and realize that I'm late.

Rushing up I strip out of my clothes and turn on the shower. I quickly do my routine and get out within a record of 8 minutes.

I grab my key card and make a beeline to the stairs. I run down each level until I made it to the ground level. I rip the door open and look around.

I see a little courtesy store so I make my way over there and grab a toothbrush and toothpaste. I run over to the elevator and get in just before it closed.

Tapping my foot impatiently I wait until it stops on my floor. Once I hear the ding I rush out the elevator fumbling with my key card. I made it to my door and I put my key on the lock magnet and it turns green.

I rush into my room and into the bathroom where I brush my teeth in a hurry and rinse out my mouth. Once I'm done I rush into my bag praying there are some shoes in there which they are.

I grab them along with my phone and keycard and head out the door. I take out my phone and send a quick message to Hades.

I put my phone in my pocket and I run to school as fast as I can.

I see the school and I thank the lord because I can't run any longer. I speed walk into the school and I sneak into my math class.

Nobody is paying attention and the teacher is sleep so it makes it easier for me. I head towards the back and sit down and just let out a heavy sigh. I close my eyes and just think but re open them when I feel a presence sitting next to me.

'Whoever you are, why the fuck are you staring at me' I said harshly. It's not that I don't like anyone- actually I pretty much hate everyone except Hades but no one ever talks to me.

They think I'm "weird" because I have no friends and because I'm not like other girls who care about their looks, or what boy is cute or hoping to ask me out.

'We need to talk' he said. I whip my head around so fast and see that it's not Hades but Darrius. He sees my confusion on my face because what the fuck do we need to talk about.

I nodded my head for him to keep going and he just sighs while rubbing his hands down his face.

'I need to talk to you and Hades together, but not here we can do it after class' he said intently.

I'm pretty sure he is fed up with my confused face because he keeps giving me an irritated look, but if you were in my position what would you do.

First off you barley talk to him and then you see him at an underground fighting ring. Next you don't say anything to each other at school, and then now he comes up to you saying we need to talk.

'Ok about what' I questioned.

'Just meet me at behind the school after class since it's lunch hour after this and bring Hades' he said.

Before I can say anything more he got up and walked away.

I texted Hades telling me to meet me behind the school after class and he responded with an okay.

I am contemplating about what he wants to talk to us about. If he was just going to tell us to keep his secret safe then I would cuss him out.

Why would we tell his secret- and who would we tell his secret too. It's just me and Hades and there is no one else.

Ring Ring Ring Ring

The bell had just rung and I stood up and made my way towards the bathroom first. I do my business and then head to the snack machine.

I take out some money and get some fruit snacks and cheese-its. I make my way to the door that leads to the back of the school. I push the door open and see Hades and Darrius.

I make my way towards them quickly. I stop a couple inches away from both boys.

I open my chips and fruit snacks and begin eating because I'm fucking hungry. I look up to see the boys looking at me and I roll my eyes.

'You wan some' I said but it came out more of a muffle since I stuffed a lot of food in my mouth.

They shook their head no and I shrugged my shoulders and continued to eat.

'Pers said you needed to talk to us so what's this about' Hades said impatiently.

'I know what you two are doing and I want in'
